General discussion / Bolt vs Farah
July 31, 2013, 03:06:17 PM
It is going to happen over 600m apparently. Anyone care to speculate on the winner.

I recon Farah, he can probably cover 600m in 1:15/16, Bolt can do a sub 45 400m, but if he did that, I think 400-600 would be a horror show for him.

Personally i think they should get David Rudisha invovled as well.

I have been with my bird for about 5 years, living together for about a year or so. Everything has been good (except I dont have a proper job)we are both happy and love eachother. However out of the blue the other day she pops up with that she is sad, because we arent married and dont have a kid. This hit me like a frozen fish.
what difference does getting married make?

General discussion / Phone interview
June 01, 2011, 09:13:09 PM
Lads and Ladies,

I've got a phone interview tommorrow. I haven't had one of these in a while and am a little rusty. I've spend last week getting info about the company. What kind of questions are normally asked at phone interviews? Any tips or tricks?

I am sick of reading the same stories told from different points of view, in the paper and online. Can anyone recommend some alternative websites to help give me a greater depth of knowledge

General discussion / Job seekers & working
October 01, 2010, 11:58:20 AM
I am a long time reader first time poster.

I have a "friend" in England who sign on a few months ago but about a month after signing on took some, cash in hand work in a local bar. It was all going well until the manager of the bar after him to fill in a p46 form.
He was concerned about filling this form in as the job centre could catch wind of this and land himself in trouble.
The manager of the bar told him, that he can be creative as he likes when he fills in form.

I wasnt sure what to tell my friend.

what would you in his situation? How can you fill out a form which wants a national insurance number creatively?
