Antrim champions Cushendall Ruairi on their way to defend their title after beating Ballycastle in Dunloy last Sunday with four points to spare. Mac Uilin CLG got 1-15 whilst Ruairi Og got 2-16.

Mayo's O'Connor wins with an overall tally of 3-34 (43) whilst Fermanagh's Sean Quigley stands as the runner-up with 2-36 (42).

Derry GAA are now under the management of Damian Barton, who replaced Brian McIver following their defeat to Galway in their All-Ireland qualifiers.

Will he be that effective? Your thoughts?

According to an article (SportsJOE.ie), five players lit up this year's Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Championship.

These players are the followings:
- Conor Geaney (Kerry)
- Mark O'Connor (Kerry)
- Alan Tynan (Tipperary)
- Ciaran Kelly (Kildare)
- Shane McGuigan (Derry)

Seems like we're gonna see and hear from them more!

What do you guys think that Kerry's Fitz is now within 70 minutes of Cork's Billy Morgan's managerial feat, which was a back-to-back win at All-Irelands?

For me, there's nothing wrong with it. Having back to back victories is a long overdue, though.

They say six Dublin and Kerry players are in the race for the title. But only three players will receive the nomination.

Who do you think might get the title?  ;D

DUBLIN, MAYO, KERRY, Galway, Tipperary and Kilkenny players are all in the running for the GAA-GPA Opel Player of the month awards for August.

Dublin's Jack McCaffrey, Mayo's Lee Keegan and Kerry's Stephen O'Brien will fight it out for the football award.

While Galway's David Burke, Tipperary's Seamus Callanan and Kilkenny's TJ Reid will battle for the hurling honour.

The winners will be chosen by the inter-county playing body and will be announced on Thursday 10 September.
