GAA Discussion / "Sunday Sport" tonight on RTE2
February 21, 2010, 10:21:26 PM
Didn't realise Seamus Woods AND M Harte would be on the show tonight and so didn't bother tuning in.

Any fireworks?

Were the right questions asked of Woods?

Just like the past few seasons we have reached a must win game for Tyrone and the league note en half over. Possibly have Dooher back and will def have Mugsy, Mulgrew and the suspended lads available.

Any word on Sean, Ryan and Philly??

Would appreciate some directions from Lurgan to Inniskeen from the Monaghan lads if possible

General discussion / Lurgan to Galway

Folks bit of help would be appreciated. From what I can see there are 3 main routes to choose from.

1. Via Enniskillen. Sligo. Claremorris
2. Via Dublin and straight across
3. Via Armagh. Monaghan. Roscommon.

Sat nav is saying via Dublin is quickest. Rac saying via Sligo???

Help please.

Think we can forget about the league already as I don't see us beating either Cork or Kerry. I'd honestly be worried we could go down this year. Mayo is a must win already and heaven knows they are our biggest bogey team. Lot more effort, concentration and teamwork required than last night.

Would let Coney stay the distance in the league and perhaps start mccullogh if fit. Colm Cav will never make a county player and is exceptionally lucky to have the medals he has.

In 2-3 years we should have a solid team but transition is upon us.

Anyone else think Harney, the ranch keeper, would be a better option than Curren?  Was exceptional as a minor.

GAA Discussion / The rules

With the debate over the advantage rule on sunday, thought a section on rules might be useful. Starter for 10 - when does a club suspension carry over into county matches?

GAA Discussion / Referee's courses
February 16, 2009, 08:31:27 PM
Anyone got any details on the foundation course for referees tomorrow night in the Armagh City Hotel?

Is it an essential course to go on if you are considering refereeing or is there a different course you have to attend?
