really like dessie hughes runners tomorrow, black apalachi has been shafted by the handicapper not being dropped after nearly two years out. Vic venturi might not be the same horse but finished third at punchestown last may in the g1 chase won by follow the plan who won the g1 at aintree yesterday. Now right at the bottom of the weights and over 100 on betfair. Rare bob dropping down the weights too. Admirable shout to organised confusion as well

what do these stats take into account hardy. i can see their merit in a huge handicap field like any of the nationals but there's only 13 runners in that handicap tomorrow. For what its worth silk drum won it last year off 5lbs higher so is an obvious danger and free world was going quite while when falling at cheltenham, both about 10-12/1

saint gervais should really win the 4.45 maiden hurdle today at clonmel, some very good bumper form last summer but things haven't really gone for him yet this season. the good ground he enjoyed last summer is back for the first time for him today and should win at evens

2nd favourite now non runner

even 1/2 if it can be gotten looks good value on so young tomorrow given he's such a class above everything else in the race

finians rainbow didn't get 2m5f in the challow hurdle before cheltenham or the ballymore at cheltenham, travelling well before emptying in both races. didn't even quite get 2 miles at cheltenham last year when captain chris stayed on to beat him. there is no way he will get 3,2f at cheltenham with kauto setting the pace. really like the horse and will be backing him in the victor chandler next week but there's absolutely no way he will possibly run or win in the gold cup unless he falls at the first in the champ chase and ryanair

ipsos du berlais at punchestown, western leader looks like  a perfect candidate to bounce after so long out and this will be a second quick run into him

might be really clutching at straws but think the the first two in the tolworth at sandown really relished the soft ground and might have the form with prospect wells reversed at cheltenham who wants it really firm

have to agree with almost everything there, think steps to freedom is a fair bet though in the supreme, looks like supreme is definitely the target and might not run here again before the festival because of soft ground and in that case wont start 10/1.

really don't think big bucks is a 1/2 shot if oscar whiskey, thousand stars, and some of zaidpour, so young and mikael dhaguenet line up, willie showed last year he;s not scared of running multiple horses in that race.

the 13/8 about quevega with paddy power looks very tempting given voler and unaccompanied are very dubious runners

anything of interest antepost for cheltenham dh?

balinroab who won a decent p2p past april, clondaw warrior in third that day running his second race for jonjo o'neill tomorrow at southwell 3.10. should be a decent price although he looked far from an easy ride fto for jonjo in a bumper last time at haydock

tranquil sea at tramore 6/4 estimated price, ghizao 11/2 ew and oscar whisky 1/2 at cheltenham tomorrow. very weak opposition against oscar whisky in the 2m4f hurdle
