Had a look at the Res Dubs thread and its clear the Dublin fans want this in Wexford and obviously the yellow bellies want it at home. It would be great if just once the Leinster council listened to the fans and not their bank balance.

Probably will be in Croker but.

He was close but. I reckon he knows what he is doing and given a few more efforts would get it. Still, great to watch him feck up on live TV.

Provinicial championships would then become as meaningless as the league  is now, so no you wouldn't have 2 competitive exciting torunaments or the provincial tradition being kept.

Local rivalries I think will always keep provincial championships interesting. I cant see a day where games such as Dublin/Meath will ever be completely meaningless. Plus if you were to use it to decide seeding's for a champions league style AI then I could defiantly see both completions being competitive.

It takes an average of 37 days for an eye lash to grow before it falls out.

Mt. Everest is not actually the highest mountain in the world.  I forget the name of the highest from bottom top.

I think your thinking of mount Chimborazo in Ecuador. That peak is furthest from the centre of the earth because of the way the earth is fatter near the equator. But furthest from the earths surface is Everest.

The draw will be pre-determined from the Q/F onwards. If all 4 provincial winners win there Q/F then the semis are

Muster champions Vs Ulster champions
And
Leinster champions Vs Connacht champions.

Then obviously if one of them is beat in the Q/F the team that's beats em will take there spot. Not sure when the draw is. Would have assumed July 26th the day after the last qualifiers but now with the wexford/Roscommon delay who knows.

Kaymer is on some form after two wins on the trot. Still think he's too inexperienced to win a major but an each way effort @33/1 I reckon is worth a punt.

The wiki stats using the link above claim the all-time scoring chart is accurate as of June 3rd. Shefflin has since scored 0-16 Vs Galway and Dublin. Does this mean he already has the record? Im surprised the media haven't picked up on this or if they have I missed it.

But then again it is wiki so could be wrong.  Does anybody have a source other than wiki for this?

I still cant see past Kerry. They remind me of Tyrone last year who were also struggling to impress in the qualifiers in July and could so easily of fallen to Westmeath or Mayo. But we all know what happened come August/September. I suspect Kerry will be the same.

Separate official for timing

Bans based on games not time

A rugby style citing commissioner who is particularly hard on playacting, diving and other such cheating.

Great to see some Irish interest after so many years. But I think the odds say it all, its Contador's to lose. Just hope the extra testing proves it to be a clean race, the sport can do without more high profile doping cases.

I read noting in that which suggested Kerry are in terminal decline. Brolly just outlines how they were tactically outsmarted on a particular day against Tyrone and Cork. Im sure Kerry management are aware of this too and will learn. In my mind its nonsense to start writing off the team that's reached the last 5 finals when its only early July.

Teams that dish out an unmerciful hammering usually finds that it comes back to haunt them. It is better to take the foot off the pedal when you are seven or eight points up

Is it that easy for players to "take the foot off the pedal" when they know there are guys on the bench who would gladly take their place the next day? Take Dublin last day. I thought they had eased up in the second half, Sherlock twice took points when a goal was on. But when the bench emptied and the likes of Ryan and Quinn came on they obviously felt they had a personal point to prove which upped the intensity again.

The IT Crowd is well worth a watch. Comes from the same writer as Father Ted and Black Books and is a similar kinda humour. Very funny.

And Flight of the Concords I love aswell.
