General discussion / Re: Football Manager 2012

Remember years ago think it was 07/08 buying Éver Banega from Boca, Valencia bought him shortly after in real life also in same game bought a central defender Breno who bayern then bought. Remember Kerlon was a wonderkid in one the games, went to inter in real life an done nothing as far as i no. Best game i ever had was 06/07 i think (the year that veron and crespo were transfer listed by chelsea) signed them for Atletico Madrid, had torres in the team over 3 seasons won the spanish cup twice, la liga and the uefa cup. Played a game with united once, the year messi had a min release fee of 40mill, signed him an david silva ended up winning ever competition i was in that year after a few seasons with it was bored, far too easy. At the moment just started a new game with Newry City she'll b a long aul slog.Best feature of new game imo is being able to add new leagues to manage in as the game goes on.

Well done to Fermanagh who once again stood up to the plate when asked of them, however to say Down were woeful is and understatement. They reminded me of that old kit kat ad, - you can't sing, you can't dance and you look awful. Down are a poor, poor football team who cannot do any of the basics of football at all.
Totally agree with you there. In the first half in particular Down couldnt tackle, they had 2 players booked for high tackles that an under 12 wouldnt be stupid enough to make, they must have give away another 3 fouls for players coming in with their feet when a fermanagh man was bending down to pick the ball up.In the second half, the only tactic they had was to play a high ball into a half fit benny coulter and peter fitzpatrick. No down players were up there to support them.Ross will be gone after downs next defeat.Def a red card for A Carr

Wouldnt mind either of them.United capable of beating both.Just on the subject of red cards,Flecthers situation is a complete joke, the ref made a honest mistake but the fact that united cant appeal it is a joke.As is the stupid rule in the prem league were a player cant appeal a two yellow card sending off.
