Newstalk said Vincents won 2-11 to 2-9. Two late goals for Kilmacud.
Hill16.ie has it as a draw, 2-9 each. Presumably that is a mistake.

GAA Discussion / 77 Semi-Final DVD/VHS Wanted

I am looking for a copy of the 77 Dublin v Kerry Semi-Final on video or DVD.
I know it has been shown in the TG4 All-Irleand Gold series so maybe someone has a tape.

Thanks.

Paddy Christie started in 1995. He might well have been on the team that won the All-Ireland that year but he got injured and Keith Galvin got in and kept the position.

I played a Junior football game on Thomas Davis' pitch last Sunday. The pitch was great, but the game was a bit of a farce with the gale that was blowing. Have hurled on Ballymun's picth too. Great for training on.

Paddy,

Eamon Sweeney is not saying that teams don't talk down their opponents. I'm sure he's well aware of the type of stuff that gets said iin team talks and the like. But this was never said in public. It stayed within the dressing room (or on the field). Once the interviews, before and after the match, were done it was all praise for the opposition

It's a pity we won't have a Mount Sion v Erin's Own club final. There might have been an extra edge to that clash.
