United look like they're missing Pogba's influence here already....

I agree with that Bannside. If you put aside Brolly's narcissistic tendencies and penchant for making everything about himself, he is a captivating orator with intelligence, knowledge, first-hand experience of the Troubles, and a seemingly genuine desire to make society a better place. He could really make a difference if he harnessed his strengths and reined back on the silly stuff a bit.

What makes you think he's a prima donna? Are you just buying into the lazy racist punditry favoured by British ex-players?
What does his race have to do with him looking completely disinterested? He's more well known for his haircuts and social media shit than he is for anything he's done on the field.

I have no idea what his race has to do with it. You'd have to ask those who factor it into their prejudiced views.

As for the other point, I know Pogba as a brilliant footballer with an impressive range of passing. I've never encountered this social media stuff you speak of, strange that you have to such an extent it overshadowed the football. Do you follow him on social media?

His contract? As usual, when you scratch beneath the surface of these types of claims, there's little or no substance behind them. It's quite often a cover for innate prejudices which is really sad to see in this day and age.

I have no idea who Angelo is. Perhaps it would be best if we just leave this discussion here, i don't think there's anything more to be gained from rehashing events of the other week. Especially if it leads to false accusations as to my identity.

It would probably be easier for those supporters to lose with dignity if their team were treated fairly.

Video evidence certainly suggests that wasn't the case.

Anyway, in a desperate attempt to move on from the gaslighting and pomposity of some, am I the only one who thinks Aghagallon are perhaps being underestimated coming into this final?

Pogba was never a keane or a Vieira type footballer he needs to have workers around him like he does with france. This utd team has too many individuals and the grafters aren't good enough around them. Fred and mctominay it's all last minute tackles and not losing the ball. I don't think pogba isn't trying that's just his game. Italy prob suits him better as he gets more time on the ball. He just didn't work at utd but I think that's as much a fault of utds transfers and his work rate. There are more problems at utd than just pogba. He will leave in the summer. No one would pay the fee for him as the likes of real barca and juve don't have the cash. But they won't hesitate to take a player of his quality for free.

He won't be cheap, even on a free. You'd wonder would he go to Newcastle if he was offered a bundle of money? He seems to lack ambition and drive.

World Cup winner  best Young player at World Cup, multiple title winner lacks ambition. People are strange.

I'm not defending anything. If you read back through my posts you will see I would like the introduction of a rule whereby you can only manage your own club.

If it makes you feel better about yourself, by all means give us another emoji though...

Hypothetically, if a glenravel man took the clubs seniors but lived in belfast and he was paid a bit for travel. Would that be cheating?

Travel expenses are fine regardless of where they live, phone usage back in the day was a good money spinner

I dont know if there is a rule or not about paying managers, genuinely dont. But if a club raises funds via lotto, fundraisers etc then what is the problem with them using that money to pay a manager?
It would be against the rules just.
..

Fouling an opponent is cheating. Play-acting is cheating. Curious that you're perfectly comfortable supporting a team who do both yet pontificate about cheating to others but I guess you've made your peace with your rank hypocrisy....
:-[
Embarrassing the lengths people will go to defend this. Have a word with yourself.

Fouling ffs  ;D

Had a word with myself there. We both agreed you're on shaky ground with the cherry picking approach to what sort of cheating is ok and what isn't.

Pogba has been at United years now and has had a handful of excellent performances. Just isn't as good as we hoped.

I would suggest quite the opposite, he's clearly too good to be wasting his time playing with Fred and McTominay.

I used to think he was going to be a superstar, but doesn't have all the attributes. If he worked as hard as Fred or McTominay he would have realised his potential.

Have to laugh at this nonsense. The man has won League titles, cups, the WORLD CUP! And all sorts of individual honours.  He has nothing to prove to anyone. It's not his fault Utd couldn't buy a half decent midfield to build around him.

What did Marty Kane do?

Didn't see the incident but heard he was trying to hit a free and his opponent wouldn't stand aside so the ball was kicked at him. May be more to it as a red for that would seem excessive...

I would say both the previous posters have fair points there. Cargin minds definitely seemed focussed on Ulster this year, maybe a case of taking the eye off the ball a wee bit.

I've also gotten the impression that quite a few folk round Creggan see this final as a mere formality and there's a danger there that they've played their final already in a way, having finally gotten one over their old foes.
