McStay great fella.
McGeeney  ::) sad loser

If McGeeney was a sad loser he would definitely be sitting behind a keyboard calling people a sad los  , oh wait

As an Armagh man I will have to be realistic, it would be a major shock if Tyrone lose this. Armagh have come on leaps and bounds and they now have a bit of a system and style which is all an Armagh fan craved this last two years. At times in league games in that period it looked like we just didn't have a plan. Tyrone are so slick at what they do that they are at least 3 years ahead of Armagh and they have great depth in their squad. They one thing I will say is that its harder to play their style in a place like Croke Park which would require incredible fitness levels. Armagh are letting the ball do the work again. One way to beat a defensive system is shoot on sight and on Saturday Armagh proved they can take a score if they have the patience to work the opening on Saturday that could be the option, few more of those monster scores from Ethan Rafferty would do they trick. Looking forward to it because I was everyone of the big games between these two and we are great rivals but I have great respect for my neighbours and hopefully Pat Spillane and colm O'Rourke are forced to talk about another classic between the two.

Whilst I'd have major difficulties with the likes of McGeeney claiming big salaries out of GAA, his honest reply above makes for refreshing reading. Both honest and cleverly dismissive of Brolly.

Came off as someone who is rattled. Sure he went up to Brolly at a function and tried to square up to him.  Him saying he doesn't take it seriously takes some neck.

That is actually as bad as Brolly coming up with crap like that..confronted him at a function.....tara the crap thats wrote on here

If Armagh put out there strongest team that is willing to play it would be like this

1: Paddy Morrison
2:James Morgan
3: Charlie Vernon
4: Andy Mallon
5: Mark Shields
6 Ciaran McKeever
7: Aidan Forker       -----Aaron Kernan
8 : Ethan Rafferty
9: Aaron Findon
10: Tony Kernan
11 Miceal McKenna
12 Rory Grugan
13: Gavin McParland
14 Soupy Campbell
15 Colm Watters       ----- Jamie Clarke

Jamie and aaron dont want to play but thats where they would fit in. Tony and james start for me....but i just dnt think any other cross players get into the starting 15 ..   Paul Hughes, Aidan Rush, oisin o'neill would be handy to have on the bench but thats it

Is this the same Joe Brolly who harps on about going back to the days of settling things like men on the football field and how about men like Brian mcGiligan would throw punches to keep a man quiet...hes so full of shit.. the man is all about self promotion, The sunday game said we need a Eammon Dunphy figure, can you do it Joe ? throwing conor mcgregor name in here makes it get headlines....has Joe Brolly actually ever sat in the sunday game studio and disected the tactics and plays of a game? has he ever pointed out to the viewing public a thing that has happened in a game that only a former player would know........nope he just picks out someone to have a pop at and goes on a stupid rant....He questioned Paul Grimley as a man as he did with Sean Cavanagh....these lads do go to work on a monday morning to listen to people asking them about joe brolly....blowing the kisses after scoring a goal shows you that it is all about self promotion.

Looking forward to the game. both teams need to win this. Derry and Tyrone should be the favs for the division but it is a strong division and you could easily get dragged in to a relegation dog fight . dnt know much about Meath but they are bound to give it a good rattle . Armagh badly need strong defenders and a midfielder who can win primary ball. Would expect a big response from Armagh after a poor pre-season campaign. Come on Armagh ,,,give us some hope

Was a top forward 2/3 yrs ago. Wouldn't make the current Tyrone team. Not the starting 15 anyway. Fair play to him I say.

Yawn, poor attempt at trolling, he would start on any team in the country.
That's just a honest opinion stew. Matty Donnelly, mark Bradley, Sean cavanagh, Darren mccurry, lee Brennan, miles better than him. He can only play left corner forward or else full forward. He's no right foot and lazy as sin. He was a class act on his day but unfortunately that's 2/3 years ago.

Bradley , brennan , your seriously having a laugh , there's one thing trolling but making an eeeijet of yourself is another thing , ask a Dublin player or a Kerry man or a mayo would they like to have one of Jamie clarke , mark Bradley and and I can't even give you the first name of the brennan guy as he has done nothing in senior football ,,,,I know the answer u would get back .

Armagh / Re: Armagh Club football & hurling
September 19, 2015, 07:11:08 PM
I dont understand this "i expect better from a county player" line. county football is a dirty as it comes there is flare ups and sly digs threw all over the place.....the lad reacted badly but he was only after losing a semi-final and was being goaded when there was no need....he got his red card which was deserved but i have watched club football in armagh for a long time and there is no club who are whiter than white, to call someone  a tool is a bit much from a supporter. god knows what was said to him. you boys would be the same crowd who cried aout about the tyrone team sledging and then when it happens in your own county, pass no remarks. he will regret his actions im sure of that,,,but some of the comments on armagh official board are over the top. one lad even wrote he should be no where near the armagh team and they will win nothing with him there...yet the irish news lists him as the only man showed anything for armagh this year...the lad is 21 and the witch hunt is on. im a moy man and i tell you what i would love to have him play for us.

The Armagh Intermediate is the hardest in Armagh to win. League doesnt really come into it . Grange and Whitecross and St.Peters now have their county men back and would def be among the favs

Tyrone you were beaten, get over it. This nonsence is the reason no one likes you. in any match in any competition it the teams with the most points win. to say our free takers werent on form,,,,whose fault is that? if your free taker cant handle the pressure then tough luck get a better one who can. Donegal were beaten by mayo not one peep out of them they took it like men . Tyrone feel the world is against them thats bull.. Maurice Deegan did not get out of bed on sunday morning and receive a call from croke park telling him that Tyrone have to go out today because we dont like them...Im from the North and i think the whole thing is just silly....Message to Tyrone  Cut out the crap,,,play like Men , win like Men and lose like Men.

Wooly just interviewed Jim Gavin about the incident on Off the Ball on Newstalk.

Having said the two players involved had a "frank discussion" about the incident (I got the impression that this discussion happened int he last few days) it's now a case of 'move on, nothing to see here'.

Hmmmm  :-\

Armagh might get away with the typically shameful traditional GAA omerta for this incident but the odds are the next Armagh player to step out of line will be treated that bit more severely have notched up.

You haven't a clue what happened, for all we know the Dublin lad threw the first punch and got one back which broke his nose...this has all be blown up ,,,like where did the eye socket thing come from which has been cleared up as not true. There's no point you talking crap there when you are in no position to clarify what went on. Dublin are happy this incident is cleared up and that speakes volumes to me .....
