Hard luck again lads. We were up against it, another lesson learned.

Poor decision making on the field cost us.

Dubs bench made the difference ultimately. If we're to beat them we need to look at how they utilise the subs, might take a couple of years to blood more players but we'll keep going back to the well.

Just make it quick and painless 😧

I hear ya

Been a long road since 88 for me. I won't make it tomorrow, but what ever happens I for one will be proud of this team for what they have achieved and the commitment the players have shown.

Good luck to everyone traveling, I hope our lads give it all they've got.

Give them hell

A very low key build up so far. Heard some head case on MWR giving out that there's not enough flags or fanfare going on, he either has a very short memory or has gone insane. Was saying there's not enough song's, well I nominate this song as our anthem for the final.......

Tomás Ó Sé commented on the Sunday Game that our players were ravenous against Kerry. Well they'll have to play like starved, haven't eaten in months, raving lunatic animals on Sunday fortnight to beat the Dubs, and I think they will. Fingers crossed.

Maybe Del Amitri could pen one for yis with a similar theme to this one...

Had a good laugh at that one, how bad were Scotland in '98 to warrant such negativity in the run up to a world cup?

Is it possible that he finally blew it?
Won't accept election results?
I'm sitting at an airport and that shook it up a bit. A real wtf at the bar. That is  questioning the the American way, not acceptable. Hillary got a couple of zingers in.

It's all over now, his refusal to accept the result is unprecedented and his praise for Putin because he 'said nice things about me' will be hard to accept for many moderate Reps. Says a lot about the guy's state of mind also. Clinton hammered in a few more nails with comments like Trump would be Putins puppet.
Clinton on the other hand is a corporate puppet.

Imagine what would happen if he was loosing a war? It wouldn't be tweets he'd be firing off

Not looking good for Trump in the polls ahead of the run in. The allegations of vote rigging are backfiring on him, people are growing tired of his rhetoric, Pence and co barely able to keep hold of the reins. Any other Dem candidate would have blown him out of the water by now with all the ammo he's giving them,  but Hillary's own past issues are keeping Trump in the race.
I agree that these are the worst pair of candidates ever and I'm sticking to what I said before that Hillary will win, not by a huge margin of the popular vote, but she may be forced out of office early.
While I'm not a big fan of the Clintons, I'm angry that Trump is being allowed to carry on with his almost fascist like rhetoric, it's dangerous and borderline criminal and is an insult to the majority of the very people he is supposed to be representing. The only thing Trump has in common with any of his supporters is with a minority who are racists and bigots. His constant use of the term 'Corrupt Hillary' is nothing short of hypocrisy.
Trump has slyly tapped into a large portion of American society that feel unrepresented, trouble is, for them, he's the wrong representative.

In my opinion this is going to get even nastier before election day. Looks like Trump is employing a scorched earth policy, going to try and play his ultimate bully tactic in the face of defeat, trying to stir up the far right into a frenzy with his delusional and dangerous comments on vote rigging. The cops are going to have a job on their hands come election time, all the anti government, gun slinging, militant nuts will be out in force.
Hopefully it will have a peaceful end, but whatever happens, the post election period will be very interesting. I think the Hillary presidency could be a short one, she's just so divisive, even amongst Democrats. Long term, I predict the beginning of a new political map in the US comprising of a new far right party with maybe Trump leading in the beginning. The GOP to the right lead by Paul Ryan, maybe even reinventing themselves slightly to pull in some disillusioned centre ground Democrats, who I think will have a new leader, maybe Kaine.

It is a load of nonsense and no narcissistic idiot should be allowed to proclaim such on the public airwaves without someone shouting "that's a load of nonsense" in the background.

Agree

Did Joe ever respond to Jarlath Burns after he called bullshit on their conversation?

Did anyone hear on Sunday Brolly was on another of his I was talking to such and such and Spillane said to O'Rourke in the background how come we never be speaking to these people or something to that effect. Thought it was funny

Yeah I was laughing at this as well and I got the impression the other lads are fed up hearing Joe's amazing stories of how he mixes with these famous people and how he goes to hospitals to meet kids on their death beds. I mean don't get me wrong he probably has done a lot for sick kids but he always has to announce it to the world so he looks good.

Did you notice he was about to start another yarn about him with Derry when Lyster cut him off and talked about something else?

What were they chatting about at one stage when Brolly told Spillane that's a load of nonsense. Something to do with the GAA struggling in the 70s.

As Estimator said, Brolly had been cut off by Lyster just as he was about to tell a yarn about Burns because Micko was in shot. Spillane spoke about his 80th celibrations in Waterville, told the false teeth story and spoke about the great rivalry between Kerry and the Dubs back in the 70's when as Spillane put it,  football wasn't doing well and that they saved the game to which Brolly could be heard in the background saying 'rubbish, that's a load of nonsense'.
