best of luck on your big night. think you might be selling yourselves short at 12.50 a ticket, 20 seems to be more the norm now.

A bit off topic, was at our club tonight for part of our centenary celebrations. Old timers were interviewed and was all edited into a dvd that was played. A great night was had but my post was about the recording of games from yesteryear. 1988 Minor football final against Lamhs! Was great to watch even though we were hammered. I'd hair and could play football!

Hair was flowing back then ;D

Lamhs were a decent outfit back then, that team went on to win senior championship (though not on the pitch ;)) what struck me and we watched the Senior finals in 87 and 88, was the poor standard of football. Pats Spillane would love the fact that the teams just about kicked everything, not always the ball.

Christ i thought we had a good team back then ;D

Any truth that Paddy Cunningham is boxing a lad from Sarsfields?

Important men behind the scene trying to set up Buchanan v Saffron Sam. Sam will be punching way above his weight but his shiny dome under the Balmoral lights could be an asset against the ageing Hannahstown great.

I've always been a lover, not a fighter and I'm unlikely to change now.

Besides even for myself, a six stone weight disadvantage would probably be too much of a handicap.

I think a much better fight would be between ONeill and Olly; there's a fair chance young Shane would get licked in the ring. Thanks Mrs Merton.
