I'd recommend adding Green Days "jesus of suburbia" to songs and the Killers "Sams Town" to albums.

For me personally, the Beatles have quite a few better songs than Strawberry Fields Forever, not that it's not a good song either.

Daytripper, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Let it Be, Blackbird, Come Together, Here Comes the Sun to name but a few.

I'd say Daytripper as an alternative to Strawberry Fields Forever.

Other songs worth a mention - Rubber Bullets - 10cc, Rock the Casbah - The Clash, With or Without You - U2, A Town Called Malice - The Jam

As for albums The Rolling Stones don't get a mention. Let it Bleed should be in there.

That doesn't make it good. Does that mean the Spice Girls are up there with the Beatles cos they sold loads.

Sorry Ziggy (and our faraway members) but I won't have time to look at this again until Tuesday/Wednesday - I think it'd be better to maximise the voting time rather than the nomination time.

Sorry can't really pick 2 more from that list. No Radiohead, Daytripper isn't anywhere near my fav Beatles song, no Bowie, wrong Bruce song, Johnny Cash- Hurt could have featured. I think I picked a Stone Roses song last year but overplayed them in 2007 so they are out this year.

Not complaining though, fair play Billy for the effort every year.
