What do you all think?
I think you have a decent prediction there. St Galls and Cross would be my favouites to meet in the final. With Benny Coulter out, Dromore should fancy their chances, but Cross should have too much for them after beating Clontibret.
It certainly is a mouth watering Ulster final if it turns out to be as you have predicted.
Yeah id love to see St Galls play Cross in the Ulster Club
They are yet to meet and the match would be a cracker.
I think these 2 teams are the best, most consistant teams in Ulster with Ballinderry and Mayobridge
St Galls Cross would defo be worth payin a few quid into--not like the 50euro paid 4that shite in Croker tonight
Yes, as with the above two, it's very hard to argue with DYJL's predictions. The only iffy one may be St Galls getting over the Derry champs. In fact Cavan Gaels/St Galls will be a close enough affair too. However, a St Galls/Crossmaglen final may not be one for the purists but would see two of top Ulster sides in the modern era collide. I'd just feel that McConville, Kernan et al would have too much class and would be too experienced if Galls entice them into a dog-fight. The Rangers defence will have encountered plenty of CJ McGourtys in the past to be too worried about his impact.
So. I'd go with the initial predictions by DYJL except have Cross retain it.
However, a possible scenario with believeable shocks:
St Eunans
Cavan Gaels Cavan Gaels
St Galls Cavan

Bellaghy Bellaghy Bellaghy
Newtownbutler

Fair point - however we dont know how good CJ McGourty really is. It would be one hell of an acid test. I think St Galls are not lacking in experience either, and their experience is spread evenly among their youthfull players
Sean Kelly
Andy McClean
Kevin & Kieran McGourty
These guys have been there on St Patricks day and that might stand them in good stead to knock cross out.
I think it would be a cracking final!

Coulter out? Thought he played the 2nd half of the down final and scored the winning goal?
Cross will be favourites. But it is a haRd one to predict. If Dromore play the way they have been and don't over indulge in the drink after their first win then they could go the whole way. But you have the like of Bellaghy/Glenullin and Mayobridge aswell.

Just to shake things up a wee bit, and it's not particuarly far fetched - If Coulter was fit I'd consider them for Ulster. I don't know why everbody rate St Galls so highly, a good side, but their Ulster form does not do them justice in my opinion. They'd need to up their game considerably from their Antrim final victory anyway. Cross are oviously the team to beat, but I think they could be done over by the Monaghan champions in a tight hard hitting local derby.

Thinking that too. It could be Cross's toughest game. John Paul Mone, Vincent Corey and Conor McManus are no slouches for Clontibret whilst Ciaran Hanratty, Ciaran Tavey, Gary Ward and Martin McElroy are in fine form for Blaney.

Well hopefully Blayney v Clontibret will be a hard hitting local derby and these fine players with be bluthered when they meet Cross.

Fermanagh representatives are Belnaleck Art McMurroughs. Belnaleck and Coa are the only junior clubs in Fermanagh, but as Coa played in the intermediate championship, Belnaleck are the only team that can represent the county, even though Derrygonnelly (a senior club) won the junior championship. A complicated setup, I know.
13 minutes gone... St Eunan's 0-4 Cavan Gaels 0-0
Devenney not playing. John Haran with a goal ruled out for overcarrying.
Half time - Cavan Gaels 0-4 Eunan's 0-4
Some bad wides for both sides.
Glenullin Derry Champs won by 0-10 to 1-6
Final score: Cavan Gaels 0-8 St Eunan's 0-7

In Cavan Intermediate champions are Ballinagh. A senior league club for a few seasons, indeed they won the senior league last year. On paper a very decent team but regularily put in poor performances on big occasions. They were knocking on the intermediate door for a number of years before eventually winning it this year with a stuttering performance. Team includes current/former County players Anthony Gaynor, Pauric (podge) Reilly & Paul Galligan
Killeshandra are Junior Champions. Couple of county minors, no senior county players. A very young team that play nice football but noy sure of they'll be strong enough for the Ulster championship.

Crossmaglen v Clontibret could be a great game. Clontibret won yesterday without being great - if they stepped it up a gear they'd give Cross a great run.
Conor McManus was first class yesterday - a few brilliantly taken points.
Saw it earlier on TG4 - Mc Manus was very good

I stand by my predictions for the semis and final.
