Title: M7 at Naas
Post by: Eamonnca1 on August 17, 2023, 12:35:43 AM
I hear the M7 by Naas got widened from two lanes to three. Did it fix congestion as predicted?

Depends on the time of the day and what direction you're heading.

What's it like during peak commute time in the commute direction?

Very busy from about Johnstown towards Dublin in the morning and busy from Red Cow outbound until you get to almost Newbridge in the evenings especially on a Friday. If there is a crash which there is almost daily then you'll be going nowhere fast.

So how does it compare to before the widening? Is it no different?

It is 3.5m wider in each direction.

Is it any better than it was before the widening? Or is it just as slow?
