I have never seen it so quiet on here from Mayo fans on a Sunday, why is this?
There's a Pontifical Mass in Knock. You don't get those every Sunday.
Quarter-final draw:
Derry v Mayo
Dublin v Cork
Galway v Armagh
Kerry v Clare
Not according to Pat Spillane. :(

If Colm O'Rourke agrees it might be a good time to place some cash on Mayo.
Someone got their iPhone back in the mental home for the evening.
Not this year.
Nightmare draw for Mayo and i think the scoreline could get nasty for them in this match. I think it could be the end of Horan, O'Se and possibly one or two others.
What players, if any, will Mayo be missong for the run in?

i think its the Draw mayo need to kick start their season. if they beat Kerry maybe some of the Celebrity mayo fans and podcasters who have been despicable for the last few games with some of them considering it not worth their while to attend. maybe then they will ho back on the the bandwagon
is it any wonder the crowd was Small; and if they lose they there is no shame to losing to Hot favorites Mayo now 14/1
as for retirement i dont see any reason why .
Horans record in the clear light of day xompared to anyone other than jim gavin or oconnor

Its getting better
definetly
Tommy conroy
Brendan harrison
Michael plunket
Fionn Mcdonagh
Ryan o D
David Mcbrien
Id make that 4 probably starters
I like James Horan but we seem to have gone backwards in this season, the players seem like strangers to each other, lots of misplaced passes. They have the last two games look like hard work. If we lose against Kerry and I believe we will, Horan should step down, we are making the same mistakes. We have had too many chances in the last ten years and didn't take one of them, Donegal and Tyrone did and took it with both hands, we should learn from them.

Thanks for that Tim

ROD is nearly back by most reports. Of the others only Conroys a starter. I know Plunkett has been there or thereabouts but he's not near the level of the 6 starters from Saturday, or O'Hora from the bench

A fully fit Conroy harrison Plunket and ROD would all probably start.
plunket was having his best year yet for mayo and becoming a real leader .
but 3 or 4 injuries is probably normal any way and you have to expect it
just a pity 2 of our best forwards are out at the same time
Agree on Conroy anyway, a real shame for him to miss a year so early in a talented career. I'd be surprised if ROD doesn't start in two weeks
Which 2 (or 3 including O'Hora) backs would you drop for Harrison and Plunkett, out of interest?

Harrison isn't the player he was in 2017. Very doubtful he'd make the current team even if he wasn't currently injured. I'd find it hard to see Plunkett dislodging any of last weeks starting 6 backs. Stephen Coen maybe as he has been having a poor year but he is the team captain so unlikely to be dropped.

Agreed, that was my thinking on it. Hession offers more for me than Plunkett and the only other one who's remotely droppable would be Coen but he's captain as you say. I think O'Hora overall is somewhat limited, and even he'll struggle to get back in, never mind the other two if they were there

Agree harris is hardly the player he was but that solely down to injury i really though he was going to come good as our Full back. and leave Oisin a bit Freer.
the thing about plunkett is he could play any where in the back or even half forwrd . so it would be a though call but Squads win Games . Hession has always been excellent coming in as a Sub and I think Plunkett has a little more of a scoring threat.
and who knows who who picked up a knock .
Im no sure where the confidence regarding ROD is coming from but for me it would shorten the odds considerable if he play and if fit
