Are we responsible for Trump?
Is there a seriously large Irish American element to the legitimation of Trump?
Just a question 😇

I think that a lot of Irish Americans went over to
the dark side. Conway. Kav, Hannity, Ryan etc.

One theory for such a difference in outcomes between Ireland and the US is related to notions. Irish people stay within the boundaries of reason because otherwise they might be accused of having notions or being told to catch themselves on. This social protection mechanism is disabled in the US and therefore you end up with Kellyanne who is a hoor for the projection and frankly an embarrassment to na Gaeil.
