Poll
Question:
ONLY if England make it through to the final, which game do you watch?
Option 1: Kerry v Galway in Super 8s
votes: 36
Option 2: England v TBC in WC Final
votes: 19
Only if it's England, for as much as we love/loathe/admire/despise them, it is the same players we (pretty much all) cheer in week in, week out in different colours.
It's 4pm on a Sunday evening, and the Super 8s is on RTE1, and a World Cup final featuring "them" is on RTE2. To which is you attention more attuned?
Are we sure it's Kerry v Galway on the Sunday and not Donegal v Dublin?

The last 8 teams left in the competition, super of them.
I'll watch both. One the TV and the other on the laptop.
Both although it is a long time since I watched a full 90 minutes of soccer
Have FIFA said yet if they're moving the world cup final to avoid a clash with the super 8s?
No brainer for me, watch the aul Gaa and put the World Cup on goal alert on the phone, I think I'll back them hoors just in case the unthinkable happens!!
No doubt Ballyholland will be having a World Cup party

Come over and say hello.
I'm guessing you're not as opinionated face to face.
GAA till half time. Switch for last 15 minutes or so. GAA second half, switch back for final 20 mins.
World Cup Final.
World Cup final... but if it was a choice between All Ireland final and World Cup final would go for the GAA

If its Dublin i'll defo watch the wprld cup cause watching Dublin is shit!
the world cup final no matter who is in it, the gaa if it was the final or semi final. its basically just 1 of 3 quarter finals for those teams in the group, even kerry or galway fans wont travel in big numbers.
England all the way.
Super 8.
Haven't watch one full game in world cup yet
Mind you if the football is one sided crap I might turn over. Then again most world cup finals are crap too so I would probably turn back.

Good call
First half WC, then turn over to RTE+1 for first half of S8, then back for the last 15 of the WC then back to RTE+1 for the rest of te S8 second half.
Record one watch the other?
Wobbler,
How did you miss the fact that there's two AI hurling quarter finals on that day?
Tsk, Tsk.
SUN 15 JUL
GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship
Quarter-Final Clare V Westmeath / Wexford
Quarter-Final Leinster Runner-Up V Carlow / Limerick

Yep.
Rest of the family will be more into the World Cup. So we'll watch the Final live. Then afterwards I'll watch Kerry v Galway without knowing the result.
GAA on the big TV. 0-0 draw with extra time and pens on the lap-top.
WC Final.
Even if it was Donegal it would be a tight one - I'd probably watch WC final live as the GAA result would be easier to avoid.
Wimbledon final too.

Wimbledon final too.
It really has been put in the backburner this year hasn't it??
Perhaps a better question would be: If you were offered a choice of i) a sumptuous three course feast from Patrick Guilbaud's or ii) a chips, rice and curry sauce three in one from a Chinese take away in Dorset Street, which would you choose?

Fixed that for you.
