The most active county section. Do you ever pop in to see why Portarlington v Stradbally hurling /football is the matter of recent debate?
The Laois GAA forum got shut down, and there was a bit of migration here.
They were kicked out of Laoistalk I believe.
Great to see the passion and they are an addition to the board.
It's not all about the all Ireland
Their vitriol towards Kildare is definitely not as strong as it use to be. Never seen such a small get under the Dubs skins so much, I admire them for that, ResDubs still refers to them as Lemons :D

Is there many other counties with their own forums?
I know tipp, cork, Clare, kerry and Dublin have very active ones

Armagh seems to have a love hate relationship with their fans/forum.
Mayo is very active.
I think the Rossies have another incarnation of Stolen Sheep.
Offaly has uibh fhaili dot com.
The Meath hoganstand forum is probably the most active of ours. Don't know of any others.

I would prefer a forum such as this one for Mayo where things are uncensored.
Hoganstand and Boards have Kildare forums, not overly active, there isn't a real active board for the club game. The Kildare Fans forum is decent albeit a bit bi-polar and the club discussions normally end up Newbridge clubs great/rest shit or North Kildare clubs are shit/South Kildare is the heart etc etc

A plantation, eh? A bit like how Queens County was founded originally.

There used to be a good mayo forum around 06/07 but it then lost critical mass and died off

For quite some time the Armagh section here has been one of the most quiet of the Counties listed on GAABoard. I think that has been a reflection of the fact that we have usually had in place excellent forums of our own. Originally Barry Coleman had Orchardcounty.com and this was replaced by Armaghgaa.net which was the official forum of Armagh GAA.
I think Barry - a great supporter, who put in untold work, eventually gave up the ghost due to the demands being placed on him as a moderator, and the associated responsibilities that came with that moderation. Whilst totally understandable on Barry's part, it was a pity, because it was a vibrant forum with plenty of great discussion.
When Armaghgaa replaced it, it quickly became the official county forum and with that I feel came higher standards / expectations around content and the need to ensure that moderation was rigorous. It too became a great forum - plenty of energy and discussion, but it too fell the way of Orchardcounty, when complaints were made by Clubs about the content of some posts. A decision was taken to close the forum down. That was last Autumn.
The new forum is orchardfans.com and my sense is that it is slowly getting off the ground. As we approach the Summer, and the Club and County scenes really pick up, my hope would be that it too will become as popular and vibrant as its predecessors.

They create threads for everything but have nowhere near the most posts. Just had a look and Derry have the most posts followed by Antrim and Tyrone I think. Our hoganstand wouldn't be used much so this would be our main forum I'd say.
