I agree it's not very clear on the listings, found these channels fromSky Ireland.
Channel 424 (eir2)
Channel 460 (HD) eir (2 hd)
That's it I think.
423 eir 1
424 eir 2
460 eir 2HD
I'm sure its different channels on other platforms.
If you subscribe to Eir Sport in the south (via Sky) do you get BT Sport included and if so is it the same BT Sport as it is in the UK, which shows PL games and UFC?

Yes, I used to subscirbe to Setanta and got all the BT channels as part of that.
With the change to EirSport, as an eir broadband subscriber I now get the Eir Sport channels free and the BT sport channels are also part of that package.

Are they the same channel numbers? 423, 424 and 460?
Buy an openbox, a cline gift- total cost 80 euro and watch every channel on your Tv.

For those of you not connected to eir Sport you can access eir Sport and all sports channels by being on wi fi or broadband download mobdro(Google it) and away you go.
Don't think Eir Sport is available on Mobdro. I can't find it anyway.
Also, if you are an Eir(com) customer for your phone/broadband but use sky for your TV you can get the Eir & BT sport channels for free. Just contact Eir with your Sky viewing card number.

I wonder does the reverse apply i.e. you live in the north and subscribe to BT Infinity and therefore get BT Sport thrown in - do you get the eir Sport channels included?
Just after looking on Mobdro and PremierSports is there. One of the games will be shown on that anyway.
In case anyone doesn't know if you have eir broadband you can watch eir sport and BT sport for free here: http://live.eirsport.ie/live/
Have to use Firefox as it uses Silver light for the media player

I'm hoping the Israeli solicitors have not come across gaaboard.com, so I'll continue: I'm not sure how many were contending for the stream but it worked perfectly for me on my Android phone (obviously via WiFi). I believe some of the streams are torrent based which
in theory are not adversely affected to the same degree by contention.

It is not illegal.
RTE and other stations might not like it if you are a non swimming drunken irish expat, lying low 3,000 miles from Carrickfergus with internet access to their live programs, but it is most definitely not an illegal action. RTE might take measures to prevent the possibility of gaining such access to their live programs, but the onus is on them to secure their service.

Of course it is illegal, it is a bit like saying that if I don't lock my car that it is OK for you to take it as the onus is on me to secure it. Or in this case it is OK if someone else takes it and you get it from them.

Explain exactly how it is illegal for a Canuck to use that linked website to view a live RTE transmission?
And how would it work to find and prosecute that Canuck?
FYI, there was once an attempt in the USA in 2008 to prosecute a US resident for watching a US tv episode on
You Tube, based on the fact that a temporary copy was made on the YT site to facilitate viewing.
It was not successful.
There is no definite legal response to the question of legality, even when it all happens within a jurisdiction.
The illegality involved, is that a violation of copyright has been committed, a misdemeanor. The transgressor would be the stream provider
The viewer in the same jurisdiction is not regarded as a transgressor and then when the viewer lives in another jurisdiction? what then?
When copyrighted content is posted onto YT. it is just removed by YT after a complaint has been made.

Ha. If you don't lock your car and leave your keys in it demisting your windscreen in the morning and someone comes along and takes it good luck trying to get the insurance company to pay out. Same thing if you leave your front door ajar and your car keys are there on the table in the hall. There is a certain onus on you to look after your stuff.

Is it only a matter of time before channels will be available worldwide for a fee? Have RTE Player make all RTE programmes available to international audiences on demand? And likewise for BBC, ITV, RAI from Italy...and Sky with its many channels. Get a daily/monthly/annual subscription. A bit like GAAGO I suppose...is that the cutting edge?
Or where will it all end?

Atm copyright is the big complicated issue.
Some rte programs are openly available on rte player but will always be stripped of the adverts due to strict commercial restrictions. Fair City for example is openly available for viewing (for the bleedin' deranged).
Smart DNS proxy allows direct online access to the iPlayers of UK based stations and the quality is excellent.
By some fluke unique achievement in efficiency, Irish tv stations have finally managed to hide their iPlayers behind layers of protection.
None of the Eirsport channels are on Mobdro anymore (for me anyway). I have it installed on an Android phone. I want to watch Cork v Clare next Saturday but it is on Eirsport 2. I have found streams online for Eirsport 1 but not Eirsport 2.
Edit: I tried Premier Sports (one of the sports channels on Mobdro) just now and it was showing Eir Sport 2. Hope it is doing the same next Saturday night.

Yeah its seems that way. Says here (https://www.eirsport.ie/tv-guides) that Cork v Clare is on Eir Sport 2. Dublin v Tipp and Dublin v Tyrone is on Eir Sport 1.

I don't think they show the geoblocked content.
One can of course view TG4 live on their iPlayer, but when geoblocked content is on the schedule, TG4's player just switches over to free content. In that way they hide the geoblocked content but keep you viewing something else.
Unfortunately the same goes for the TG4 channel listed in https://www.firstonetv.eu/Live (https://www.firstonetv.eu/Live) and this match is geoblocked.
I'll check on some other possibilities.
Sorry if someone has mentioned this already, but is there any way to watch the KerryVMayo game on mobdro?
Thanks

kerry v mayo is on Eir 2hd and I doubt if mobdro will grab that one
However, it's also on Premier sports uk live with Tyrone v Dublin deferred.
Premier sports is available on Mobdro, easy to find (i think)

I'm out of the country this weekend and was wondering what would be the best way to watch the Club Semis on TG4.
I know theres an official app but I don't think it offers live coverage internationally. Is TG4 available through KODI or any other platform?
The club games are also scheduled on Premier Sports uk live
Same instructions apply as per previous post
Kerry v Monaghan is on Premier Sports

Mobdro app onto an android phone and cast / mirror maybe the handiest
Promises to be top contest, two All Ireland contenders faring off in a knock out game. Hopefully the pundits on Eir sports give a full detail analysis of both teams and not just focused on Diarmuid Connolly with his fancy assists when unmarked while ignoring the fact he was struggling for scores in the last two games.
Top players steps up in games like this so a big performance is expected from Ballymuns and St Vincents main scorers Dean Rock and Tomas Quinn.
Has anybody in the North subscribed to this?
I can't find a number on their website that works.
