I'm risking a £1 on Mayo to beat London.

All curses to Limerick yesterday.Had them at + 3 to beat Clare (one more point would have done) along with Cavan -2,Tipp -5,and London +15 in a nice little accumulator which would have paid out at 16/1.

Hard luck. Clare Tipp was an untouchable for me.

Cavan v Tipp
Carlow v Leitrim
Wexford v Monaghan
Clare v Mayo
Meath v Donegal
Westmeath v Armagh

That's only coming out around 8-1 for me.

Try the handicaps for a few of them to boost the odds maybe?

Cavan seems to be tipped everywhere, don't get that, think Tipp are great value.

I think a few of them are potentially dodgy.

Tipp 9/4 and Clare 4/1 look tempting

9/2 on Down to beat Tyrone is also decent. Westmeath are 9/4 vs Armagh

I think 9/4 on Westmeath is good value. I don't think the Dublin loss is as damaging psychologically as most people seem to think. I also think 2weeks break, plus game in Mullingar will help. If I was to pick an upset, that's the one for me.

Expected the betting to be much tighter for WMeath/Armagh.

Effectively a game between two Div 3 teams so looks like prices are being put up based on Armaghs past rather than the present

I think people are assuming Westmeath will just fold after the Dublin game. I'd be surprised if that happens.

There might be more money on Armagh in hope rather than anything else

Any money put on them is mugs money.

As a straight bet Donegal would be better and they are a longer price

That's great value. If the focused Westmeath team that we saw against Wexford and Offaly the second day comes out we will win. If it's the Westmeath team that went out against Dublin or Offaly the first day we'll lose. It's a real 50-50 game.

Armagh have some decent forwards and if given the room to play will cause damage. I didn't see Westmeath v Offaly games but you could sail a cruise liner down through the Westmeath defence against Dublin.

I done an accum for the league's for a bit of interest.
Monaghan to get relegated from div 1
Cavan to get relegated from div 2
Fermanagh to get promotion from div 3
Carlow to get promotion from div 4
€20 pays 950 approx.

I was reading the Derry forum yesterday and the posters there reckon they have a very poor defence. I might have a small bet on Westmeath over 2.5 goals at 8/1 with boylesports. Hopefully Heslin at ff will cause trouble and an early goal could cause a very inexperienced team to collapse.

To be fair Dublin is a bad example to use.

That's a late reply. I think its a good example as Dublin more than anyone else will show you up for having a decent, average or poor defence.

Week 1 was interesting to say the least!
Clare took Tipp in the hurling. Meath comeback v Rossies and Tyrone bit the dust and a lot of accumulators with them.
Division 2 will be ruthless

Does 8/15 on Dublin to win in Omagh seem very generous?

great odds on dublin. they could win this by 10+ points. ive a feeling they will go to omagh and make a point of finishing off tyrone for the year.

These recent league meetings might have something to do with the current odds.

2017- Dublin 0-10 - 1-07  Tyrone - Croke Park
2015 - Dublin 1-09 – 0-12  Tyrone - Croke Park
2014 - Tyrone  1-15 – 3-10 Dublin - Omagh
2013 -  Dublin 1-14 - 0-18 Tyrone - Croke Park
2013 -  Dublin 0-18 - 0-17 Tyrone - Croke Park Final

I was gonna say Dublin are certs for Saturday evening but looking at the previous league results has put a bit of doubt in my mind, even so can't see Dublin not winning, lump on!!

Antrim at 10/1 to win the Leinster B hurling championship seems to be a decent price considering their recent form.

Add Roscommon to that list as a cert... downs best defender gone from panel during the week and the annual shit to hit the fan pretty soon plus haven't beaten Roscommon in any recent meetings.

Has Mcgovern departure been confirmed? Anyone know the circumstances? Strange no team has yet to be announced 80 mins before throw in, not that it matters as it is rarely the team that starts anyway.
