With the wife off on maternity shortly I can get back to my early morning rounds where I'd nip to the course for about half 5 and get 15 holes in before work!!

- Too time consuming for not enough reward. O
r, in my case, because I was so bad and never getting any better, no reward.- Couldn't justify 4-6 hours away on a Saturday when there were kids at home I hardly saw for the rest of the week. Then, when the kids were gone, I didn't want to go back, because I was enjoying the no golf.- Tennis.- Plus, to my dismay, I found that golf clubs were full of f'n golfers. (I know some will say,"what about tennis clubs". People are grand in golf and tennis clubs, but I've found tennis people don't spend two hours over pints describing their cross-court topspin forehand winner in the second set. And I actually like that game. And it only take 90 minutes and you get more exercise than three weeks of golf.)

Is "mowing the grass" a euphemism?
On a day like today sometimes moving the grass is just mowing the grass.
