Christ TH, a Cork v Kerry thread on here barely gets attention on here, so can't see this game generating much interest! Admire the effort though. Clare are probably better but faltered a bit in the league (including losing to Limerick) and now Colm Collins is suspended from the sidelines for 3 months.
This could be tighter than expected but I do think Clare will have a few points to spare.
It's a pity it couldn't be played as a double header with the hurling the next day in Thurles. Did Clare not want to give up home advantage?

Yeah, what's the thinking on this? Perfect opportunity missed, what with Davy sorting out the dual player issue.
Same thing happened last year. We played limerick Saturday night in limerick and in hurling on Sunday in thurles

Junior footballers played before the game in Limerick, and the Intermediates hurlers before the Hurling in Thurles. Tipp played Limerick 4 times in less than 24 hours there.
