What does your county manager do for a living (officially). Who do they work for and in what sort of role?
Retired Garda.
Runs a hardware shop.
Mickey Harte, Eamonn Fitzmaurice, Malachy O'Rourke, Brian Cuthbert, Peter Creedon, Brian McIver all teachers which is the overwhelming career of choice for the GAA intercounty manager - Probably a few more teachers in the mix as well.
Jim Gavin something to do with aviation. DAA I think.
Jim McCorry works with the council.
Pat Holmes was/is with Ulster Bank and Noel Connelly has a business of some sort.

Actually Harte is retired now but spent years teaching.

Left the guards to become a developer during the boom and exceeded the leave of absense time so he couldn't return. Wound up his company during the crash so I am not sure what he is doing now.
