Did I miss an Armagh vs Clare thread? No one has thoughts?
I bet on Clare.
Neither McKeever nor Clarke in the lineup. Any news about that?
Clare. 0-01. Armagh 0-00. Quick score by Clare
Clare. 0-02. Armagh. 1-00. Ethan Rafferty goal
Pace sounds frantic, or maybe it's the excited commentators
Clare 0-02. Armagh 1-02.
Clare 0-02. Armagh 1-03. Armagh more composed after a wobbly start
Clare 0-02. Armagh 1-04. 1-04 without reply
Clare 0-02. Armagh 1-05
Clare 0-02. Armagh 2-05. Goal by Tony Kernan
Clare. 0-03. Armagh 2-05
Clare 0-03. Armagh 2-06
Black card for Ethan Rafferty
Clare 0-03. Armagh 2-07. Murnin just on, points
Have you got a radio link?
Clare 0-03. Armagh 2-08. Lots of yellow cards so far
Clare FM. Good commentary
Clare 0-04. Armagh 2-08. HT
Clare squandering what few chances they have while Armagh forward line seems unusually sharp--each of the forwards has scored. Armagh's defense is clogging up Clare's attempts to run at them, or so it sounds.
Clare 0-05. Armagh 2-08. Once again, Clare opens the half with a score
Clare 0-06. Armagh 2-08
Clare 0-07. Armagh 2-08. Wake up, Armagh. Get in the game!
Clare 1-08 Armagh 2-08. GOAL for Clare--only a goal in it
Black card for Andy Mallon
Clare 1-09. Armagh 2-08. Astonishing start for Clare
While fair play to Clare, it is ridiculous that Armagh are not composed enough to limit the damage of their good spell.
Clare 1-09. Armagh 2-09. Armagh's first score of second half--phew!
Armagh down to 14 men
Clare 1-10. Armagh 2-09
Should never have tuned in.... its all going wrong since I did!!
Jamie Clarke coming on for McKenna
Clare 1-10 Armagh 2-10 Clarke point
Clare 1-10. Armagh 2-11
Clare 1-11. Armagh 2-11
Cross men to the rescue. Goal!
That should be enough.
Clare 1-11 Armagh 3-11. GOAL for Kernan
Black for Finn Mo
Clare 1-11. Armagh 3-11. FT. A lucky enough escape after a second half collapse--not exactly inspiring--didn't show much poise under pressure
Thinking the same myself, Sandy--surprised it didn't happen earlier, so maybe Finn's in better control these days--got it, of course, for a professional/cynical foul near the end, so not catastrophic
On the face of it you would think this was a dirty game with one red and 5 black cards - Armagh got 3. However, bar one pushing and shoving between a couple of players there was nothing in it. Murray unlucky to get a second yellow as his tackle took the ball but accidentally caught the man. No idea how Rafferty got a black - thought it was a yellow card offence but was on other side of field. No idea why Mallon or first Clare black were for. Finn was very disciplined today and his card could easily have been a free out for charging. Findon showed better discipline too. Clare are no fools but Armagh should never have let them back into it. As Armagh won I feel I can say referee had bad day at the office.
Would agree throwball
Thought referee very poor
Tkernan was man of the match,
Enjoyable game but Armagh let Clare back into it.
Ethan Rafferty was having a good game but needs to calm down a little

I'd agree with all of this. I thought the turning point was when Clare moved their no8 (who was excellent) into FF. Aaron Findon followed him in and Armagh struggled to get a ball in the midfield. Harold did well when he replaced Carragher and turned the tide of possession back in our favour, he also scored an excellent point at an important time. Referee was shockingly poor and Mickey Murray's second yellow wasn't even a free. Ethan Rafferty was excellent but has to learn to keep the head.

Agree completely on this. At least Rafferty got a rest for under 21's!
How did Armagh end up with only 13 men?

Murray sent off on 2 yellows. When Finn Mo. got black card he was third and could not be replaced.
Had no idea we finished with 13

Ethan Rafferty and Andy Mallon had previously seen black. Only the first 2 are allowed to be replaced.
