"Paraic Duffy and I are as conservative and traditional as you will get in the GAA. We are looking at a package here that will satisfy the broad group of people that we are trying to satisfy. "Those that want to constantly refer to those that won't get to see those games will harp on and quite frankly you couldn't please everybody anyway and that's the nature of it."

Lowlights, Offaly v Longford, Wicklow, Kilkenny and Tipperary.

last 5 mins of Armagh v Donegal, we easily could have went 2 points clear on 2 occasions and then Donegal did their stuff, so so proud leaving the stadium but so disappointed that we were so close.

Offaly's struggles. Sad to see the county going through the mill with no sign of any end to it.

The Connacht Football Championship.
The Leinster football Championship.
The Munster football Championship.
The Connacht Hurling Championship.
The Leinster Hurling Championship.
The football League Final.
The (non use of the) Black Card.
The cop out use of the Yellow instead of a Black Card.
The low standard of TV co commentary on RTE.
The prices one has to pay to see Amateur players.
The non emergence of a new team/county to win Sam/Liam!

This.

Sligo-Galway game was a lowlight, as awful a display as we've had for many years*

* - the whole of the 2013 season excepted.

1.Cian Hanley going down for a 3rd time with his cruciate lying somewhere up on Hill 16 from about 10 minutes earlier  >:(

2. Getting caught on that shower before the game in the Hyde.

3. O'Gara's goal to equalize in the league was particularly annoying.

Not the journey to Limerick which has now somehow become a contributory factor in Mayo losing to Kerry?

Nope, didn't mind Limerick one bit personally. Good directions from yourself in the Old Cratloe road and parked in LIT. No hassle. The venue had nothing to do with Cormac Reilly/midfield capitulation which ultimately cost us the game.

Waterford losing Munster SHC replay to Cork by 14 points after nearly beating them the first day. The hammerings we took off Clare and Kilkenny in league and losing relegation play off to Dublin also.
The football championship apart from a couple of games was disappointing.

Heartbreaking.

Hunky "tits" Dorys dropping Throne just cos they didn't get anywhere this year. Where is the loyalty ? It's all  plámás these days.

At the time of the launch, Ray Coyle, CEO of Largo Foods said; "We are delighted to be entering into a partnership with one of the most professional organisations in the country. Our passion for crisps is mirrored in the management and team's passion for GAA in Tyrone and we look forward to building a great relationship over the next two years."

Easily the capitulation in the U21 championship at home. Also Castlebar's looseness in Club final.

The county minors probably overachieved. Winning Connacht with them actually a highlight.

A few things during the year in senior culminating with a few costly decisions in the semifinals.

It s one thing a team being bet by sight of a jersey. My own county has often been accused of this and ridiculed for not fronting up. Unfairly imo. Another thing being rode by a gimp of a ref.

20 yrs later we got another bottle of whiskey and revolver performance from a pair of refs., that had preconceived ideas about who is and isn t worthy.

I m sure Reilly will tough it out. McEneaney will be able to advise him about how to lead parades instead of being ran out of town.

My lowlight would be the sustained vilification of my fellow countyman Cormac Reilly, whose common sense approach to refereeing facilitated one of the best games of football in recent memory.
History will remember him kindly.

The last 20 minutes v Tipp. Even when we are 6 points up and playing well with 20 minutes to go, I still expect us to lose, just not by 10 points.

The common sense approach of letting double hops and picks up go. Can fist frees and move frees into front of the post if you want. Was the worst ref performance I have ever seen. Never mind the big decisions but the basics of the game were let go. It wouldn't be seen at junior b level but to see it in an All Ireland semi was a disgrace.
