Title: Galway v Armagh somewhere on Sunday
Post by: Throw ball on March 24, 2014, 06:35:20 PM
Now as many Armagh fans have booked hotels in Galway and Salthill for a match listed as being in Salthill for months now it has been decided to stuff them all and move it to Tuam. Can someone let us know how long it will take to drive from Salthill to Tuam and is their any places in Tuam that a family can get a feed for a reasonable price.

Do people who make these late changes ever consider the cost to supporters.

To be fair, when those Tyronies rolled up to the Hyde last summer the mean bastardeens were atin' sandwiches on their bonnets. None of that craic from ye big spending Armagh lads in 2012.

An Armagh thread with only 8 replies, 9 now including mine  :), has to be the lowest replies for an Armagh game, have the faithful lost all hope?

You are so right about the injuries,my typing finger was damaged in an accident at home (trying to keep the wife out of my trouser pocket looking for money) I have lost the use of it for 3 weeks now. Physio says it could take another 4/5 weeks before I am fit again.Dont ask how I typed this. :)

I hurt back there, had to see the physio but I've been declared fit for Sunday. Currently sweating on the fitness of another supporter due to a bad shoulder but we are hopeful they will pull through.

That Galway side isn't very recognisable.  The older players discarded and giving youth a chance?

No, it's broadly along the lines of what's being picked all league. FB line with Moore showing up well of late looks about as solid a line as can be fielded these days. On the back of recent good college form, Lundy from Corofin makes his big-game debut. Sice had a puss after being taken off during the Louth game; given that he's as inconsistent as all the rest, his is not a major loss.

Looks like it. I think Donegal still need another point to secure promotion they are unlikely to rest players.

Hey Syfin
Ros are 150/1 to win Sam versus 50/1 for the FDs. What is the problem?

We'd probably have to play a county of the awesome strength of Mayo, their power in defense only matched by their ability to hand-pass the ball back and forth over their 45.

Ye have to play Sligo.

Are ye going to boycott the qualifiers? I thought the New Dawn of Roscommon was slated for this year.

No need for Qualifiers when you win the Nestor, Seaeen.

You know yourself the racism Roscommon suffers from Big Smoke-based odds-makers, like Mulholand's..

What odds are the horse racing bet takers offering about the Connacht Championship?

Two-Tanning-Salon-Trips to One-Bullock-Run-from-AO'S for Mayo

Seven-Yeats-Poetry-Tours to One-Bemused-Sligonian for Sligeach

45-Bags-of-Turf to One-Gerry-O'Malley-Solo for Roscommon

They reckon Leitrim don't count, that London aren't really a part of Connacht and they're not giving odds on Galway for political reasons.
