Title: Player-Fit vs. Standard Jerseys
Post by: Oraisteach on December 14, 2012, 01:11:57 AM
Any thoughts about what jersey to get for a lad 5' 11" 13 stone?  What would be the right size? Player-fit or standard?  Thanks

Large standard.

Medium Standard would be a better fit than large, I would say.

reminds me of a few of the "larger" men  on our team giving out when we got the new standard issue large O'Neill's jerseys.

"Oh jaysus, these must be the new tight fitting jerseys they're all wearing these days"

Ha, you'd miss the old cotton jerseys all the same, wouldn't you.

Have a look at the jersey Paudie o'se wore lifting Sam maguire in his playing days. Nicest and simplest jersey. Tight fit looks better I think
