Cross and Passion College won the Mageean Cup last October or November time. Think it was the first time in a wee wile. They are playing in an all-ireland semi final shortly. Not sure when though or who. Think they have a few of these so called "ballycastle young stars" on their team!! So will be interesting to see how they go!

Ballycastle would be very unlikely to cause an upset for three reasons. First Northern teams record in the south is very poor. Second a three month layoff helps no side. Third CPC is a comprehensive and not a grammar school and a lot of the stronger players leave at 16. So while the team may have some strong 18 yr olds there will probably be three or four 16yr olds on the siide also. A weakness which will probably be exposed by a stonger faster southern side.
