Your some hoor! Fermanagh the only semi finalists without a mention, not even a honourable place for Big Seamie at corner forward tut tut

Agree - scored a goal in every game. Come on! Scored 1-08 in TWO games.. shoe-in. Thankfully we included him right on the square in our team.
As much as I love Paddy Bradley, and as fantastic it is to see him back, I don't think he was one of the three best full forwards by any stretch. He's still very rusty. And Gilligan and O'Boyle in the full forward line for Derry were better.
A lot of Quigley's were free kicks and Fermanagh were hammered in the semis..
Big Paddy was getting back to himself again and scored a goal on his return and young O Boyle is some player
John Devine (Tyrone) Few big saves early in Section A games, even though Pascal pulled out a few amazing stops later on
PJ Quinn (Tyrone)
Liam Morrow (Derry)
Aidan McCrory (Tyrone)
Conor Quigley (Fermanagh)
Peter Harte (Tyrone)
Neil Forrester (Derry) made big impact around half back area against Down - one to watch
Colm Cavanagh (Tyrone)
Mickey Murphy (Tyrone) notched up plenty of scores
Mark Donnellly (Tyrone)
Owen Mulligan (Tyrone)
Conlith Gilligan (Derry)
Paddy Bradley (Derry)
Stephen O'Neill (Tyrone)
Seamus Quigley (Fermanagh) Wasn't going to risk him the full 70, until I realised its a fictional team
Tyrone bias of course, but ....

I missed his keepy-uppies this time though! ;)

haha - well sure you'll have Ronan O'Neill to come in and replace Quiqley when that belly gets the best of him!
Tyrone biased so I'm surprised you left out McCarron and Carlin
But I definitely don't think Cavanagh should be in there ahead of Cavan's Gearóid McKierney.
I had Michael Murphy in as well and delighted to see my clubmate Forester getting recognition outside the county - can have a big part to play this year.
Mark Lynch was outstanding throughout the whole tournament so I'd include him anywhere in the forward line all day long
But I can't believe that Sean Leo McGoldrick has been overlooked in these team. Genuinely think he is one of the most under players in the country.
Diarmuid McNulty of Jordanstown and Tyrone was also one of the first down on our list http://bit.ly/vZF2iR

Obvious Tyrone bias plus I watched them more. Can only judge Derry on what I seen in semi and final. Mark Lynch has a good half hour in final but I wouldn't have included Sean Leo. Colm Cavanagh has been Tyrone's most consistent in form player in McKenna Cup.
I'd include Forester too
Dont rate Cavanagh though - big fairy

Brilliant. I would love pundits to come out with stuff like this now and again :D

:o how in Gods name do you come to that conclusion, his ball giving away ability on saturday night contributed significantly to Derrys poor second half. Brennan certainly thought that too.

Forester played just 10 minutes of the second half and he lost possession just twice in the whole game - both times when he was stranded in the forward line with no help from his tiring team-mates.
On top of that, I hardly think one player conceded possession on two occasions over a seventy minute period was the problem for Derry

near pissed myself at you saying he lost it
just twice, just twice in ten minutes when we desperately needed to keep it, explaining exactly why he was removed. Take the rose tainted glasses off
I was simply nit-picking at you saying how his "ball giving away abilities contributed to a poor second half" - completely exaggerrated
And to say I have rose-tinted glasses on has come out of nowhere because it wasn't me who included him in the team of the tournament - it was two others (I wouldn't have him in my team) - and I never once said he had a good game on Saturday night.
Just think it's interesting that people are quick to jump all over him when he is substituted in just his third game after absolutely tearing it up against Jordanstown and Down. When he played with Gerard, they were absolutely deadly. Meanwhile Barry McGoldrick wasn't to be seen anywhere on Saturday night but because he didn't try to get involved or try to make things happen, he is not criticised.
Would agree, he needs more time to understand that the time he will have on the ball for steeletoen and Derry aren't the same. I was laughing at his inclusion on the team of the Mc Kenna cup. Like seriously, give the guy a break

McGoldrick was seen as usual during the breaks in play when he was up yapping around the referee or pushing and shoving opposition men for no reason.
Haha well said nrico2006!
But Rawhide,i dont understand why you were laughing at Forrester's inclusion... He has come in and did well and showed that he can be an asset for Derry
