In Down to the wire, David Off quotes theologian and lawyer William Stringfellow
who described the US as the heir to "the ethos and mentality of Nazism".

Off topic I know but......

....Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Yemen and the newly independent nation of South Sudan, according to a memo released by the White House late Tuesday.

All four, which are slated to receive a total of more than 200 million dollars in military aid in 2012, were given waivers by the administration last year, as well.

Can our lot not find a way to get some if this military 'aid'? Wouldn't it be better if we could have Michael Healy-Rae being transported around in an F18, paid for by the US taxpayer, rather than running the expensive Government jet. The Presidential election would have been far more interesting if Dana had a blow-out in her B-52 while the media light have been nicer to Martin McGuinness if he arrived at press conferences in a fully armed Apache helicopter.

"a lack of leadership and a disregard for U.S. law"
Exactly, isn't that what I've been proclaiming to deaf
ears for years now!
The Nobel committee must be most proud of themselves
on reading this report ::)

So is Obama a pinko liberal weakling or is he an overaggressive war monger?

When you figure that one out let us know... after 3 years we're still patiently waiting for
him to decide what he is, such is his inept leadership skills and inability to make a decision ::)
Apparently he's a bit like yourself Eamonn...he likes to lead from behind  ;)
