Irish Mail on Sunday revealed that AIB Gave Money to the Vatican to give to Abuse Victims for compensation.

Just when you think it couldn't get worse!  :o

To the Vatican? The Vatican hasn't paid money to any abuse victims that I'm aware off (comes from the dioceses and religious) but if they were to do so, surely they would use their own (Vatican) Bank?

What's the story here? Banks shouldn't lend money? Abuse victims shouldn't be compensated?
