Title: The Netball Thread
Post by: Olly on July 06, 2011, 09:43:52 AM
I don't know if you've been following this but N Ireland are through to the quarter finals of the netball world cup. In emotional scenes (I cried for 20 minutes continuously though it had been a bad day) we beat Samoa 66-37. Samoa are no pushovers as they have shown in rugby and Kilikiti. Northern Ireland beat Sri Lanka 65-56 before a 75-33 defeat at the hands of the Aussies on Tuesday.

We now play England in the QF. Let's hope we beat those bitches.

Strange sport. You have to stand still to do anything with the ball.
