Title: Confirmation
Post by: gawa316 on May 15, 2011, 01:03:08 PM
Got the niece's confirmation today. She is the oldest of the nieces/nephews by a right few years, consequently she was spoilt rotten for about 5 years. As a result she is feckin loaded.

My question is how much do you usually give a niece on her confirmation?

I'd say 200 should be ok.

£200 QUID!! Who gives that amount? That's a serious amount of money to give to a 10/11 year old

I'd say £20-25 and she'd far prefer to get cash in hand. Otherwise, her mammy would take it from her and stick it in a bank or whatever.

It all depends on whether she is getting a helicopter to the chapel or not.

Had a niece confirmed this year. Gave her nothing. Would reckon I wasn't the only one - financial contributions are the remit of her god parents.

Hope that helps.
