Title: Cracked paintwork on car bumper, how do i avoid it all pulling off
Post by: snoopdog on February 23, 2011, 05:27:22 PM
Hi,
I had a bit of a prank with a fence and cracked the paint on my bumper. some of it has flaked off.
Is there anyway i can prevent it from further chipping off?
Can i use a clear Laquar over it or something??

You could get isopon which is for such problems, it's a pasty stuff that sets hard and is sanded before touching up with paint. A car parts place should have some in stock and be able to advise but if the car is older and banged up any you should be able to do a fix yourself and save the few quid.
