O'Leary and Co keeping up their classy advertising stance, where they don't pay for something that they can do themselves
(http://www.broadsheet.ie/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/23.jpg)
we all know who are the W**KERS!
Brilliant ad. The moral brigade were on Joe Duff today talking about, There is something fierce whining and annoying about the Cork accent.

They ran the same ad in the Indo but for some reason replaced 'wankers' with 'tossers'. Aye, he's a class act is O'Leary
I fuckin love O'leary, the man is a legend. Anyone who ever gives out about him should remember he pays his taxes in Ireland, unlike other more respected members of the public like Bono
Absolutely brilliant from a publicity point of view.
I pity the man's family but have no sympathy for him whatsoever.
O'Leary is a grade A c**k. A mercenary who drags every else down with him. Even the majority of his own staff can't stand the sight of the prat. He'd sell his own mother for a few euro
some bit of publicity alright if maybe a little close to the bone

If you want to ask his staff try the car parks where some of them live.
We all pay our taxes here as well what the hell has that got to do with justifying the existence of O'Leasry. He is a complete waste of space in my opinion.

Waste of space not really a great description in my opinion - the guy contributes lots to Ireland Inc.

God to see ye providing free advertising on the gaaboard!
I can't understand the animosity towards someone I'm assuming no-one here knows.
Personally I have great admiration for him in reading the history of ryanair. He was one of the front runners in bringing affordable foreign travel to the masses.
Regardless what you think of the man himself you can't denied O' Leary is top business man! before he arrive only the wealthy Irish could travel frequently now common Joe can travel to top European destinations for next to nothing
Of course he probably got the idea from south west airlines or somewhere else but credit to the man for getting bums on seats.
I for one would love if he did something similar with love-haul flights in the years ahead.
Exactly pre-O'leary it was ferry to England for Joe smoe, now u can go anywhere in Europe for less than the price of a pair of jeans.
O'leary brings serious revenue into the Irish coffers, thats what him paying his taxes has to do with things. Sure he has cheap publicity stunts but it's free advertising for him, guess who pays for aer lingus's advertising?
There's nobody forcing anyone to work or travel with ryanair? Yet people do.
It's galls me to hear people whinging about how they were 40 seconds late for check in and had to pay €100, of course you did! That's what it's about, u know what ur getting when u buy the ticket, cheap and nasty
Anyway what is the story with this Prendiville character? What is he like on the radio? What is he really like?

He's a sanctimonious mouth-piece. This controversy couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.
Takes one to know one I suppose
I had never heard of this chap until he decided to whip the lad out. Nurofen+ plus gargle my arse. At that rate most Irish lads would be pulling the plum on buses, trains, mass, Croke Park. It would be like a bad zombie film except instead of craving raw flesh the infected male would be craving to commit the sin of Onan on a constant basis.
By all accounts Prendeville seems to be a sanctimonious loud mouth on the radio but, hey, it's Cork, so who cares. I am sure Hardy tunes in regulary so maybe he can enlighten us.
I think O'Leary is great. I imagine him getting up in the morning wondering who he can piss off today and rubbling the hands with glee when he comes up with another stunt. As for extra publicity for Ryanair....do they actually need it? Who hasn't heard of Ryanair?

I know 3 people who work in their HQ at the Airport... is that not enough?, they all same the same thing, working conditions at Ryanair are shite and the man is a to$$ piece, bit like this Cork man in the spot light.

I've never heard him. By all accounts, he could best be described as Cork's Gerry Ryan, give or take a few brain cells. An ape. I feel sorry for his family.
Love him or loath him he has brought cheap travel to the masses. As someone who paid £140 in the seventies to fly to england I am glad he gave the travel world a shake up. His business practises may leave a lot to be desired but so to do a lot of other businesses but they are not rubbished every minute by the media. The interview where he is doorsteped by panorama is great to watch. Would he get all this shit in the uk if he were english?

Sean Fitzpatrick was considered the greatest contributor to Ireland Inc, until his lies caught up with him. Many top businessmen still praise him and his poxy bank.
Of the 10% of their staff that were employed in Ireland most of them were employed as 'sole traders' so that Ryanair didn't pay PAYE on them (and possibly employers PRSI). Many of them commute from Europe (Ryanair will base staff near home for a number of years) and so never they paid tax here.
Revenue became involved a year or two ago and I'm not sure where they are now on that.
But be under no illusion, Ryanair wrote the book on how not to contribute to Ireland Inc.

You have questioned about 60 people on who they vote for and what they wear to lectures?
For the people who don't like O'Leary - does your loathing of him extend to never flying Ryanair?
I used not like O'Leary, but he won me over as they years went by. More power to him is my vote.
As for the buck-eejit down in Cork, what I don't understand is why someone didn't lamp him and tell him to cop himself on. Persons who expose themselves are generally best avoided because they might be dangerous but this fella looks a bit of a tráithnín to me. Two belts of a rolled up Independent and he'd be taking the ten count. Why wasn't he stopped?
