As Mel has said it looks like "an old fashioned shakedown". Doesn't take away from the fact that he'd be better laying off the grog. In the past few years he has offended women, blacks and Jews - not wise in the US.

I think Mel lost the plot a long time ago, long before he met this lady. I think she is just looking for a good divorce settlement or money for having the kid or whatever. Who didn't know he was mad, have you seen any of his movies recently?
