happy days, 80million in the united kitty, this could make things a little more interesting! Ronaldo was a shadow of him former self this season, looked like a man who just didnt want to be there. Was getting embarrassed watchin all his tantrums too. Wonder how he will make playing alongside Kaka. His ego could take a knock

Can we use this thread to discuss obscene amounts of money being spent on soccer players in the midst of a recession and lack of funding to key services such as health, edumacation, and legalising the sex industry. Note to self - delete the last bit.

They have their own television contract in Spain unlike the premier league who are all lumped in as 1 deal with sky, with bigger clubs getting more but nowhere near as much as they could if they negociated their own deals. As far as i know they also may be bankrolled by a part of the spanish gov.
