Hope ye Donegalers and Mwr bucks all enjoy ye're big day out .
For the neutral it's good to see 2 new teams in the Final ( for me I would prefer not to see 1 of them  :P) and lets hope the game matches the occasion which I think it will.
I'm plumping for a draw.
By the way Syferus I got a ticket but gave it to a Donegal chap at work. :-*

I'd be doing porridge in Castlerea if I had to give you money, so it's probably for the best  :-X

Got a ticket! WOOHOO! UPARA!

Can't wait. C'mon Donegal.

Now, how do you work this ebay thing?

I'll give you a calf for it.
I was born with two of those and still have them.

This one is able to produce natural fertizer, though.

Who is Mayo's captain?

David Clarke is the acting captain.

Bodybuilders wouldn't be doing anything close to the amount of running as a inter-county player, the Arnies out there are usually told to limit their aerobic exercise as too much leads to muscle wastage.

Anybody watched Moone Boy? I think it's great. Good light hearted bit of craic. I'm looking forward to tonights episode as well.

Watched it last night on Sky anytime, I had had a few pints and thought it was funny, looking forward to it tonight. Love the theme music.

Your mans accent annoys me.
Is this how everyone from Roscommon talks?

When the most famous Laois man is Liam O'Neill ye're not ones to talk >:(

The Rosies are very multi-talented, aren't they?

GAA Discussion / Re: Which college?

You're fair obsessed over this, ck. No one is saying all colleges have equal prestige or that favouritism doesn't exist. Most of the colleges in this country have plenty of courses that are done to more than high enough standard to teach you a discipline or profession.

The reality is it's what you do with your degree, not where you got it, that will stand to you in the long run. If you're talented enough you'll get a job somewhere and after that most everyone won't care if you got your degree in UCD or Moon University, what matters then is how good you are at your job.

Another great Ballagh boy. My neighbour was a master flute player and thaught Matt some of his first lessons on the flute. Arrah aren't we great?

Hard to do the song acoustic and stay in key, not that it stops the Mayos trying! Eunice is a better singer than that.

2 points doES actually tell the tale of the match . donegal may have looked all over cork but the scored Just 2 points in the last 20 minute leaving the door wide open for cork and only for desperate shooting  cork would have won it with any other change to the match .
had cork scored them no one would have batted an eye lid and for 20 seconds talk anout the pluckly hills men before looking forward to a Cork Dublin final, instead donegal are installed as the hottest favorites for years and all faults forgotten , but that's the level of GAA journalism at the moment

If Cork or Kerry had reached the final they would be hotter favorites.

That's more Captain Tangential than Captain Obvious.

There's people selling premium level tickets on ebay..i'd kill for ticket myself!!

So you joined up to just randomly link to one of dozens of touts trying to gouge people?  ::)

Look, it's unlikely you're dumb enough to post the seat numbers and get caught now that it's been so publicised that Croke Park are cancelling tickets, but at least tell us how you square away having access to tickets for such a communally important game for an amateur, not-for-profit sporting organisation and then trying to milk fans for as much cash as you can get? Why not just pass them on at cost and show and give them to one of the hundreds of people who go to games week in and week out and don't have a ticket for the game?

Remember Richie Feeney run up and down the touchline picking passes on a cold January afternoon in Ballinlough. He looked like he meant business. Maybe he'll end the year as he began it?

I don't think it can be over-stated how much better than Kerry we were over the 60 minutes. I literally never have seen a team lose a match with so much of the possession, the scoring opportunities and the defensive play we put in. Tipp would have had the belief you need to beat a Dublin, Tyrone I think weren't terribly great shakes this year and Meath's victory over them was probably a good representation of where they ranked.

The question we have to ask is what has really changed since the end of July? Have Meath suddenly got 13 points better? If they answer is no then the odds are mostly justified when you make allowance for the fact all Dublin's teams are always over-rated in betting stakes because so much of the money that moves the scales is in the county.
