Ray Charles could see that we needed a world class goalkeeper and centre half, yes we did pay huge money, but those records have since been broken and Alisson and Van Dyjk look like relative bargains now.

TAA, Gomez, Matip and Robertson have all developed into world class players under Klopp. Trent is now one of the most valuable defenders in the game and he's only 21.

Look at our midfield, Henderson is odds on to be player of the year, he gets better with every game. Fabinho is without doubt the best defensive midfielder in the league and any of our other options in the middle are all thriving under Klopp.

People like you laughed when we bought Salah, a player who wasn't given a chance at Chelsea. Who's laughing now, our front three have all developed into world class players under Klopp. Minamino is a ready made replacement for any of the three, are you telling me he won't thrive under Klopp?

The galling thing for you is that we beat Spurs so comprehensively in the CL final, we didn't really have to get out of second gear. We controlled the game from start to finish. Spurs don't belong in big games like that. They have imploded since Madrid. Madrid was the end for you, we're only getting started.

Klopp doesn't buy world class players like Mbappe, instead he transforms already good players into world class players. Mbappe would command a fee of €300m, Liverpool don't need to spend anything like that on one player.

Picard.

Jean Luc is back, don't listen to the critics, they have to write something controversial to appear relevant.

Excellent first episode, did a fine job of reintroducing a character with the depth of Picard, gave enough detail to fill people in on the events of the last two decades and introduced new characters with just enough depth to give you a slight flavour of their relevance, while still leaving many questions and a little mystery surrounding them all.

From the trailer at the end it looks like it will get even better. Really looking forward to the next episode, unfortunately we have to wait a week, very 1990s.

Engage.

Disappointing result today for Kilcoo, thought they could have won it over the 60 minutes. Congrats to Corofin, arguably the greatest ever club team.

Anyone know if Irish citizens abroad can do a postal vote. I've lived in England since 2003. Not entirely clear on the websites I've read but I'm sure you used to be able to do this.

No. Irish people abroad cannot vote in elections unless they are registered to vote in Ireland and return to vote. There is no provision for postal voting.

Most voters have to vote in person at an official voting centre. However, you may be eligible for a postal vote if you are:

Just home. Men against boys. A 15 minute period in the sending half stopped it from being embarrassing. I just can't see a system in place after 15 months. Thank god it was a second string Tyrone team.

It was a Division 1 team against a Division 3 team and it was never going to end any other way. It's very hard going to these games knowing we are going to be on the end of a tanking, but it's where we are right now.

Big week ahead for Down football and Kilcoo in particular. It would be great to see the entire county united behind Kilcoo, as a county we have been starved of success for more than 25 years.

Does anyone know if season ticket holders still get free entry to the club finals?

City are 4 nil up on villa at half time. Just a reminder of what a good team they are. Before kickoff today we had a 17 point lead on them and before this is over we may need every bit of it.

After today we have a 14 point lead and a game in hand, nothing has changed. Luverpool have not lost a league game in over a year, they aren't going to lose enough games, if any, to allow City or anyone else to close the gap significantly. City play again before we play, they may well close the gap to 11 points but again nothing will have changed. City will not go unbeaten from now to May.
We have United up next at Anfield, we owe them a tanking, they are the only blot on an aotherwise perfect start to the season. I'm enjoying every second of this, we just don't look like we are going to lose, if the Spuds had scored yesterday, we'd have bagged another one. Thats how good we are, we're winning and we haven't hit top form yet.

I'm not Paddy Power.

You're comparing Spuds to a pile of mid table sides, so you must be confident they'll qualify. Make it €50 and we'll donate the money to a charity of the winners choice.

Only 9 points off fourth. Kane out for the best part of the season, Eriksen clearly doesn't want to be there and Son when he's not trying to end opposition players careers couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Do you fancy a €20 bet that they don't qualify for the CL?

Liverpool are only 31 points ahead of Totteringham after 21 games. Spuds won't qualify for the CL at this rate.  8)

The current black goalkeepers jersey is one of the nicest jerseys we've ever had.

Big game on Saturday, away to Spuds who will be without Kane and Sissoko. We might not get that all important early goal/penalty.
