Things to think about today.

  • Why was this a home game for Dublin? Don't tell me that crowd would not fit into Tailteann Park or some other venue in Leinster?
  • Today was Cluxtons first game for Dublin this year. Bear that in mind when looking at his performance.
  • Dublin did not have Fenton in Midfield. And still coped.
  • Why are forwards never pulled for over-carrying when a goal is scored.
  • Why do we not have a B Leinster Championship without Dublin. The winners of that could play Dublin in the A Leinster Final. They would also enter the AI Championship on merit.
  • Why was this game shown on Television?
  • Should the winners of the Tailteann Cup automatically go into the AI Championship?

You'd presume that the more dominant use of Red has to do with Avoiding colour clashes with Tyrone. Tipp and Clare have similar issues.

McKenna has been outspoken on Dublin and their special treatment.
Brolly brown noses Dublin at any given opportunity.

McKenna was ostracised because he spoke up against Cash Cow Dublin GAA.
Telling the truth and as it is became an offence when it came to losing Adverting and selling papers.
Brolly on the other hand talks with blinkers about the great Dublin Like one would talk about the romance of Man City winning everything - with no mention of the €€€€.

Politically they are poles apart also.

Barcelona came back from 4-0 down to beat PSG in the 2nd leg at home 6-5.

That said it was a late late show with goals from Neymar  88', 90+1' (pen.) and Roberto  90+5'.

It all depend on how afraid Atalanta are of losing the tie.

Now we know why Klopp is leaving at the end of the season 😕

Quote from: Brendan on April 11, 2024, 01:27:51 PMCarlow always produce a shocker but their newest is the worst yet, better off in bibs, why are they even releasing a Jersey this late in the season?

Their season starts after the Leinster Championship.

All Leinster Counties season starts after the Leinster Championship.

Have to feel for the farmers at the minute whether it be trying to plant potatoes of those trying to lamb sheep.

A concerning fact when it is stating as less than 50 acres of the usual 21,000 acres have actually been planted so far.

No doubt we will see this in food prices later on in the year.

It has been brutal for farmers and food producers. There have been very few dry spells at the back end of harvest last year and that is continuing into this year. It's mad how little crops have been planted yet and even if it stopped raining today it'll take a week of dry weather to get ground into any kind of shape that can be worked. Can't even get cattle out and lots getting it tight for fodder. There doesn't appear to be any spell of dry weather in the forecast for the next week to 10 days.

Tuchel: "What makes us really angry is the explanation on the field. He told our players that it's a kids mistake and he will not give a penalty like this in a quarter-final."

Yeah that's what it looked like.

100% Penalty - Referee and even more so VAR bottled it!

Quote from: Captain Obvious on April 09, 2024, 09:31:23 PMBottom of the group without a point or a goal scored. Are the team really better without Vera Pau as some of the players told the media?
Before you start criticising these Girls.
We have the following ranked teams in our group

England - 2
France - 3
Sweden - 6

We are Ranked 25 and we were ranked 38 at one stage.

We are mixing with the BIG GUNS here.

I posed the question than criticising. Vera Pau did well yet was a lack of respect on her departure.

Not too happy about the treatment of Pauw myself. She got us to where we are. There must have been some skeletons in the closet.

Quote from: From the Bunker on April 09, 2024, 09:33:34 PMThe Double Treble is on and nobody in the media wants to mention it.
Media don't expect Liverpool to let the Premier league title to slip through their fingers hence why it hasn't been mentioned.

The Media know City are stink with Financial Doping. They don't sell advertising, Papers, etc. And there is not an ounce of romance in the achievements of the team.

That's probably Utd's League interest finished bar their home game to Arsenal in the penultimate game of the season.
The Cup is still viable, they will have enough for Coventry and the final is a one off game where anything can happen.

More points dropped by Man U. Liverpool were there for the taking. That's 7 points dropped by them in the last 3 games.
