Referee was poor yesterday. One Moorefield defender struck two players with his fist and nothing was done about it and he was also about to give their midfielder a yellow card, until he realized he had one already. Poor decision. And to add to all that the five minutes of extra time was up when the last kick out was taken. Eanna O'Connor have blown for time wasting on last free.

Is "consulting" with Moorefield so you can probably add a Kildare Senior Club and Leinster Senior Club to his list of achievements.

Heard he was getting a nice sum of money for his troubles  ;D ;D

Moorefield transfer policy is paying off. Eanna O'Connor the difference between the two sides. Corofin will have handy game against Moorefield in semi final.

Where are the O'Connor's from?

Ironically it was Dempsey who told them to play for Moorefield.

Kerrry. Offered themselves to few clubs  and dont live in Newbridge

Donie Vaughan signing up for Castlebar next season.

Did he have a falling out with someone at the club? The distance excuse obviously doesn't wash. Ballinrobe is about 20 minutes down the road. Not great optics to leave your club as soon as they are relegated. I'm sure they were hoping he'd lead them straight back up.

Did he think playing intermediate football would affect his Mayo chances? Don't see how it would as long as he performed. Plenty of great players on intercounty teams from intermediate clubs.

How have they managed to reduce costs by that much? Or is it just more of it being paid under the table?

Minor and U21 teams operated on a shoestring budget with all the preferred candidates walking away from the jobs. It's the main reason Sligo beat us in Kiltoom this year at U21 tbh.

surely the 100k between Mcstay and Mchale should be cut an invested into county minor/u20 next year??
