I'll never forget a classmate of mine from South Derry walked up to this yoke in Renshaws (hense she was wearing a cork jersey and an eskra tracksuit top tied around her waist, and 2 pints of fat frog infront of her, and to put it mildly she was feckin massive) and says.."hows your twat for 2 fingers!!" to which the dirty slap came to the side of the head!!Some laugh at the time!

Lads, whats wrong with Justy at full back?I think he's done great since introduced there. Other than the Armagh semi final,Kerry final and meath last year what games has big joe played full back?? Add to the fact that Brosnan destroyed him for the first half, then cricko came on for him to steady ship. While Shane O'Rourke took him to the cleaners also.
Justy has been able to deal with very mobile players and with the big man. Im of the opinion that joey is better use out the field and with the Down game over him he'll progress in match fitness and confidence and could be a great option at midfield with big sean. We need him somewhere in that middle sector (maybe even at 5, where he played in 04) esp with teams using the blanket defence, possesion is vital and thats where joey's vision and use of the ball comes into play.
I've a lot of time for the hub, If told to go out and do a job, i.e break kickouts, put tackels in and spoil he can be very effective.

Brolly fairly tore into Mc Hugh in todays GL. Can't stand Mc Hugh, I know that he gets under a lot of players skin with some of his ridiculous comments. He's like listening  to a pure poison on a bar stool!!

Hear the trainer (pat mc nabb) is gone. We need a result up in Loughmacrory tonight. The 2 Tony's wouldn't be the worst. Maybe even big Sid!
Anyone think that club football has got very serious and this pressure has reflected one managers getting pushed or resigning. Only thinking of ourselves, Donaghmore and Killyclogher who've had a change of management throughout the year...and championship not even played yet!!

Its bound to happen sooner or latter tieroan. Both of them are struggling. Apparently the Parish Priest of Dungannon asked the congregation one sunday about two months ago, is there any footballers in the parish? At this stage it was after 2 or 3 league games and Dungannon, Edendork, and Killyman were bottom of their divisions(i suppose Clonmore weren't going great in Armagh also)
Fr Rice might ask the same question soon the way the island are going!!

Interesting fact- Charlie Harrison and Andy Moran were team mates and house mates at UUJ this year. Both will likely be marking each other. Bound to be tough on both of them if they were good mates.

As a matter of interest, Does anyone know what is the quota of tickets that players recieve?

Finnian Mo marking Johnston in the gutters in Cross and marking him in Breffni on firm ground are different propositions, Mo will be on the sideline before 20 mins are gone if he does start.
Very harsh on Finnian. I happen to know of him, and he's a fella that has put in a huge amount of effort into his game. I think he'll be able to handle whoever comes his way on sunday. Seen him curtail Johnson whilst playing for UUJ vs DCU in a sigerson game last year. The full forward line that day happened to be Mortimor,Johnston and Bernard Brogan, and delivering the ball in was Paddy Keenan, Eoin Lennon and Ross Mc Connell. Cavan dont have any of the quality of players that i've mentioned here and Moriarty was well fit for the challenge.
On another note, I think Armagh will progress in this game, Mc Donnell seems to get the best out of the younger players and id expect them to stand up and be counted on Sunday.

Must be something in the Derry air. I've heard great reports and stories about big Adrian Mc Guckin being a serious motivator.

Folks, I know Donnelly seems to come in for a right bit of stick on the board here and rightly so in some of his performances for the county, though he seems to do well at Jordanstown and was brilliant for the club last year. But to reiterate rrh view on Mc Conville, I thought Donnelly also got the better of big John in Ardboe in the recent league encounter and has been our stand out performer for the club so far. Also think Kelvin is a super player and throughly deserved a better chance. When he plays well, Donaghmore tend to as well.

Wee Roddy, If it is from that challenge he had with Carr then I'd be worried. Although it looked like a shoulder charge, Carr actually caught the block on the jaw which may have caused concussion. If this is the case then he could be out as he has received so many bangs to the head over the last years. I remember he got caught against coalisland in the league semi last year (although he went into full forward afterwards and lorded it). Mc Ginley defiantly out, and possible Colm Cav. Its likely Harte could start with Dermy Carlin next week (I liked his combative style and attitude he brought when brought on) or even Swift in the corner. Although McGee played well when introduced he has a tendency to pick up yellow cards early thus Harte's policy is to replace corner backs when booked, so he may be better comming off the bench to curltail McComiskey. Id expect Sean Cav and Hub to start in the middle and maybe Tommy or Mellon to come into the fwd line somewhere. Niall Gormley is a possibility too, he showed well when introduced. I suppose if Conor is out the likely replacement is Joey or Gourley. Big task in the marshes, Gordon and Rodgers influence needs to be halted and we need to be more alert on break ball. Anyone expect a change in keepers? Thought packy wasn't great (punched when he should have caught, and in the case of Gordan's square ball goal he should have took all with him) and even when Holmes was making cross field runs, he still bogged them out to the middle which probably hung Holmes and Hub out to dry.
