Goats Do Shave

Watched 'Hunger' last night. Fairly tough show to watch. Decent enough show, though 'Some Mother's son' is in a different league!

Was made watch PS I love You on Sunday, herselfs birhtday, and was surprised that i actuallt , enjoyed it, definitely a chick flick but good story, plenty of gags and good sound track, was impressed

Bender alert. ;D

I stand by it GBB, i'm confident in my sexuality  8)

Now as for hunger, what an overrated pile of shite, typical of the kind of thing u get knobs writing reviews to jump on to show that they are all arty
I'm sure i'm completeing missing the cinematic qualities and i'll be berated as a philistine but gimme entertainment anyday
Excuse me for talking while you're trying to interrupt me

Oscar nominations in a fortnight or so.

Bookies reckon Revolutionary Road, Dark Knight, Curious Case, Che, Changeling, Slumdog will be in with a shout.

Kate Winslet is in 2 of those so could have a sixth nomination under belt. I'd have money on Revolutionary Road at fives.

Revolutionary Road, boring at the beginning but oddly gets interesting, not much happens though. Worth a watch, just about.
Slum dog millionaire and Benjamin Button both very well made, a lot of people will like them but neither did it for me.
Ghost Town, makes "Ghost" look like a masterpiece.

Main Street

The outstanding feature in Revolutionary Road was Kate Winslet
she must be in the line for the actress award.

Who else will be in contention for the ladies award. Haven't seen Changeling but by all accounts Angelina Jolie's role was for nothing other than to win her an Oscar.

Main Street

I haven't seen the Changeling either, I downloaded a screener but the quality was poorer than the usual so I'll wait for better.

I see Gabriel Byrne won an GG award for TV drama actor as a psychiatrist  "In Treatment".

Interesting format,  5 patients,
each patient gets one episode a week, therapy continued the following week.
There are  5 episodes in a week.
So far, Series 1 has been running for 9 weeks, about 45 episodes.
I think I´ll download the whole lot of them
