Liverpool score

Decent first half and no question over the penalty.  Couple of times Liverpool had chances on the break and picked the wrong final ball or poorly executed it.

Wat the f**k was coutinho doing picking up that soft yellow at the end for blocking a free kick. Didn't he get a red last year that started with that! Would be concerned about both him and Mane being on yellows. Mane could easily have got a second late on.

Its Kileshill who where supposidly betting against themselves with players unavailable for the game, Just name the team lads, no one is guna come after ye, thats what the forum is about #discussion

Discussion... or hiding behind a false name to slag people off and make unstantiated allegations about a GAA club  ::)

It must be a fact that a local bookmaker suspended betting on this game because of irregular betting patterns, the prices posted on this forum would suggest that Killeeshill were favourites to progress (I wouldn't be overly familiar with junior form).  Adding all this up and the manner of the defeat would suggest that there is cause for suspicion.  Again I don't know if they maybe had men lined or there was other reasons for the margin of defeat.

Someone made a few quid anyhow

As per above its not on posting unsubstantiated rumours about a specific team on a forum like this.  If your going to make comments about a team like that stick your own name up as well

Is there any rule prohibiting players betting on themselves to win in games they are involved in? Have heard of teams putting bets on themselves at £20/£50 per man at start of season etc. Nice incentive to lift at the end to go with the trophy!

Castlederg 0-09 Rock 1-09
Castlederg out of the championship and league nearly out of range. Have they blown their big chance to get promoted?

3 championship games in 10 days isn't easy

DS15, seriously?? That's more cringy than the people who call ronaldo CR7.  ::)

Fifth goa from Sturridge showed what sets the natural finishers apart from the rest.  No bsck lift and early shot.  Fowleresqe

First a Black President and now a woman has broken the glass ceiling and will become President!

It's great to see society has moved on... Even if stew hasn't!

oh dear lord..
"broken the glass ceiling" - looks like someone has been drinking the Kool-Aid :)

next you'll be telling us this never happened

Ah fc come out of the dark ages Hillary is just as capable of being president as anyone else and more capable than Trump would be that's for sure.

The Republicans and Democrats had the opportunity to put up credible candidates against the current nominees and they weren't able to produce anyone to come close so you'll have to live with the consequences.

Personally I think she'll do a good job. Show me a politician who hasn't lied/bent the truth and you have nobody. I think that she's done well in her 30 odd years in politics!

That's the crux of it unfortunately.

Any truth in the rumours that bookies stopped taking bets on a certain game within the county at the weekend?

Was it a junior championship game? ?

Couple of big drubbings in D3 championship. Not often you see that in championship football.

Is Stevie O'Neill back playing for CNG?
Junior pretty much going with form with Tatts,Owen roes and the derg all in with a good shout. Some clubs seem to have all but given up on the year even before the championship.  Expect a few "did not field" in the remaining league games.

obviously the only stat that matters is 2-0

80% of possession, shots, passes, tackles etc. Bit lacking in a sharp edge up front. Lot of quality last ditch tackling from Burnley and fair play to them. They took their chances and they held their backs to the wall.

A little bit similar to how Liverpool played against Chelsea on the Gerard slip, didn't have enough invention to make the opening.

Milner solid, but not creative, Mignolet worries me greatly, flat footed and does not promote confidence. Sturridge looked lost, Origi was a bit more direct.

Balotelli would have been a decent hail mary for the last 10 minutes.

I thought Burnley were very comfortable and outfought and outmuscled Liverpool, winning all the 50/50s and content just to head the aimless crosses away and block the long range shots. Looked to be a touch of arrogance and complacency about Liverpool to me. And the two goals conceded were shocking. Bad giveaway by Clyne for the first, but he was put under pressure by Klavan giving him that pass in the first place. Both players should probably have just hammered it upfield, given the pressure Burnley were putting the Liverpool back line under at that moment. You don't have to play it out EVERY time. The second was awful two, coming directly from a Liverpool corner, with missed tackles and no tackles allowing Burnley to charge up the field almost unchallenged. After that, they could have there for two or three matches and they wouldn't have scored the way they were going about it. They'd better sort it out, because there will be plenty of that to deal with this season, especially at Anfield.

It's been a problem suarez left.  Liverpool struggle to break down well organised physical teams.  Klopp's style is mick more suited to teams who try to attack.

I'm telling ye lads, the ignore function. I don't like ignoring posters, because the idea of debate is to engage with opposite views, but TF is not debating, he's just rising, and it's tiresome.

Every thread the p***k gets involved in ends up like this including the multiple bullshit threads he starts himself when he feels he isn't getting the attention he wants.

He was hopelessly ill-suited to Liverpool from before they even bought him. Doesn't mean he is not a good player. The fault lies with Rodgers and Liverpool. He'll probably score tonnes for Palace.

What's the odds he bangs a couple in when Liverpool go to Selhurst Park? ;D

Yeah he'll score goals in a team that plays to his strengths. Same as Carroll. Was never going to fir into the klopp philosophy so recouping most of the original fee is good business for both clubs.

Now for Mario

Annoying thing about this is how many people has this crowd done the same thing on? Sideline obviously had done his homework and noticed but I know if my sister/mum/dad rocked up having paid a deposit they would never have thought to check that.

As for the changing the taillights story that's a f**king disgrace.

Milner will play lb. that's the only reason Morono played yesterday, Milner injured. Joe Gomez loitering soon too So there will be two in front of Alberto.
Neither of which are actual left backs.
Really need to sign a proper one imo.

Agreed.  It really is hard to understand why lb wasn't a priority early .  I'd rather have spent 25m on a quality left back than Winaldun. We are well covered for midfielders. Gomez might be where klopp is going on this which based on how he played last year might be ok.   Even Chilwell would have only  been one for the future.
