I am sorry in advance for the shameless plus on here!

I have opened up my new firm in Dublin, if any board members wish to get in touch then please do so using the website below.

www.rogerssolicitors.ie

I will do my best to assist anybody in anyway that I can, especially the good members of this board.  No doubt this will attract one or two smart comments on here as I don't think Solicitors are overly popular on this board!  But any recommendations etc are much appreciated.

General discussion / Website design, SEO and PPC
May 10, 2015, 12:50:02 PM
Are there any web designers on here? I am after a website highlighting a business.  The website must be classy and look the part, the website must also be the sole source of all business, therefore "getting to the top of Google is crucial."

I have read tonnes of stuff on SEO and PPC.  I have contacted various agencies but the prices I am being given are crazy.  The prices are ranging from £2-4k for a website, then anything from £500-£1000 per month to ensure the site stays at the top of Google.

Is it possible to run the PPC campaign myself without the need for a pro? All help appreciated.

I have deleted a load of photographs from a mobile phone from various events, the mobile is somewhere in the house but I can find it.

The problem is I think I may have deleted them off the phone.  I have heard of software to recover these but I'm not sure how good they are.

Also, some of these have been deleted of Dropbox.  I know you can recover deleted files on DB for up to 30 days with ease, but some of these were deleted over a year ago.

Any help appreciated.  Cheers

General discussion / Christmas Parties
December 06, 2013, 12:29:53 PM
I have my Xmas party tonight.  I have the usual worry, that I will get completely shi1t faced and make an eejit of myself.

We are a going wine tasting in some wine shop at 6.30 before a meal at 8.  This worries me!

Has anyone any good stories/antics/shenannigans they can share for a laugh?

I am after a few tickets for this game on St Patricks weekend in Paris.  I am not a member of a rugby club or anything like that.

Does anyone know of anywhere online that I can pick these up and not at an extortionate rate?

Cheers

General discussion / Planning a weding
September 04, 2013, 12:10:59 PM
I am planning to get married around 12 months from now.  Got engaged last weekend but I literally have no idea what to do now.

All tips on how to save costs, who to use for what etc will be really appreciated.

I am from South Down but the likely venues will probably be in Co Louth (Ballymac, Carrickdale, 4 Seasons in Carlingford, Canal Court Newry all possibilities).

Can anyone in the area suggest a band?

Thanks!!

General discussion / Diamonds
September 17, 2012, 12:49:25 PM
Haven't a clue about diamonds but Im hearing that you can make serious £££ buying and selling them on again.  Has anybody any knowledge on diamonds or have any experience of how to make a few quid on them?

Had a quick skim through ebay and saw some sellers who have clearly after a quick sale and prices appear to be low.

General discussion / Golf - starting off
August 03, 2012, 04:19:48 PM
Just taken up golf a few weeks ago.  Really enjoying but I am completely useless.  Bought a few clubs etc to get me going and playing on a fairly average 9 hole course to get me started.

Driving is where I struggle, always seems to slice off to the right.

Is anybody is the same boat?  Any tips?

GAA Discussion / Greatest "line" in football
November 25, 2011, 01:22:33 PM
Was talking to a friend about the Meath Full Forward line of the early 90s (91 I think) of O'Rourke, Stafford and Flynn.  We agreed it was one of the great lines in GAA.

Any other great contenders?

General discussion / Lazer eye surgery
May 24, 2010, 02:00:18 PM
I have a consultation in a few weeks with Optical Express about getting this done.

I have heard mixed reviews on the results of the surgery.  Can anyone share their experiences and give me an idea of the costs involved?  Would love to get it done, but I have some reservations.

Thanks

General discussion / Stag weekend in Derry
August 22, 2008, 02:02:36 PM
I have a stag weekend coming up soon in Derry, any suggestions of where to go during the day time for pints?  United play Liverpool that day so we are going up early to watch that, what bars would be good for that?
Thanks.

General discussion / TomTom/Sat Nav
July 27, 2008, 12:57:36 PM
I am in need of a sat nav system that will work in all parts of Ireland and Great Britain.  I have heard the TomToms are fairly good.  Im not looking to spend an awful lot of money (somewhere in the region of £100 or so).  If anyone has one who could pass on some tips of which models are good etc it would be appreciated.

General discussion / Debts
April 16, 2008, 07:11:54 PM
Currently up to my neck in direct debits going out of my accounts, and I always seem to be getting ripped off for money in unexpected ways.  When the wages go in at the end of the month they just seem to be instantly eaten up by direct debits etc.

And all this talk of a failing economy and the credit crunch makes the situation even more depressing.  Anyone in a similar situation, or has anyone any tips on how to save a few quid?
