We laboured to a 3 pt win in dire conditions. A game to forget really. Late switch to Ballygunnar grounds. How in the name of f**k can a club as famous as Ballygunnar not have a stand?

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has died at the Arctic prison colony where he was serving a 19-year-term, Russia's federal penitentiary service said in a statement.

"Navalny felt bad after a walk, almost immediately losing consciousness. Medical staff arrived immediately and an ambulance team was called.

"Resuscitation measures were carried out which did not yield positive results. Paramedics confirmed the death of the convict.

"The causes of death are being established," the statement said.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia's penitentiary service was making all checks regarding Navalny's death, but that he had no information about the matter.

Quelle suprise. Had to do something else due to the lack of hotel windows in prison.

Off to Waterford to be a spectator for the first time tomorrow.

The last time I was in Waterford for a match was Feile na nGael in 1977 when we got hockeyed in all matches we played in.

We were all 10/11 in an U14 hurling competition.

That said, we were treated like royalty as the first Longford hurlers to attend this august competition.

Handy win for Longford?

Losing the O'Byrne Cup final has sapped the Dubs' confidence.

Laois full value for their win. Score flattered us. Their goalie was immense - played as a 3rd midfielder for most of the game. Scored 3 points and stopped at least one almost-certain goal.

Laois had a decent game plan. We had feck all.

The O'Byrne curse strikes us again.

I believe FAI made an approach.

Jurgen will be the next Irish manager.

(or maybe not)

Primetime are doing something tonight on GAA refs. A new organisation has been set up in Dublin. Kinda like a referees GPA.

Focus will be on violence and threats towards them and how the GAA can improve their lot.

They seem to lose their magical power when the spring arrives.

Way hay. Nothing stopping us now.

Back in the same place this day week. That's when it gets real
