Is there any way of knowing which counties will be changing their jerseys soon? Just don't want to splash cash on Christmas presents if they are going to be out of date in a few months.

Cork getting new sponsors so they'll be getting a new jersey.

Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.

Green and Maroon and also the back of the jersey I've just found....

And then the alternative....

Where did the maroon come from or is that to tie in with the pork ;)

That's a very good question, some of the Kildare purists who were up in arms at the few games in the qualifiers where Kildare had to wear green will not be happy with this new addition of colour, but at least it remains undoubtedly mostly white  ;)

Stumbled across this site recently, http://www.prideinthejersey.com/

A lot of work involved as you can see and the addition of a bit of maroon for Kildare is a big break with recent tradition!

Happy that Kildare have found a sponsor.

Very annoyed that the fcukwits in the Kildare County Board have added colours to what should be an all-white jersey to fit in with the sponsor's logo.

It makes no sense. Does any other team in GAA or any sport modify the colour of the jersey to match the sponsor's branding?

That new Kildare sponsor looks hideous on the jersey IMO.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

It's arguable that the dark green on the Kildare jersey came the shade used on the Tegral logo. Waterford incorporated the Waterford Co-op colours into their jerseys from 1996-2000:
