Seen an interesting video today of Moyes revealing that he nearly had gareth bale signed and sealed with a helicopter waiting to go lift him, he said he had met tony kroos and had a verbal agreement to join united-moyes then sacked and this fell through. Fabregas too close to joining from Barca... How things could have been different.. or not

Bale always wanted to go to Real Madrid and United went after Fabregas after Barca had just sold Thiago to Bayern so that was never going to happen. It sounds like Kroos would have happened based on what the media say but LVG didn't want him, this is why its important that United appoint a director of football because Kroos was clearly a brilliant player who'd have made a huge difference.

Maybe Moyes is fishing for a job.

Always thought United should have went for Bale in 2011. Instead they bought Young. Another £10m would have got Bale at that stage. He was just starting to put in some great performances and knocking in plenty of goals.

I would take the banter from most supporters, but Liverpool fail to realise continually is that they finished behind this outfit last year.

In a nutshell. Under 12 like defending. Finishing in the top 4 was only going to paper over the large cracks. Will take a number of summers to clear out that amount of deadwood at the club.
