Reckon Deutschland could be an each way bet to nothing for the Galway Hurdle 1/4 the odds 5 places.

His hurdles mark is 25lbs lower than his chase rating so he could be well ahead of the handicapper. Normally don't bet in handicaps, especially at Galway, but I couldn't resist the 5/1 about him.

Surprised Ruby didn't sit a bit handier on him. He showed in the Powers Gold Cup that he stays well. Might not have been able to go the pace on that ground though and certainly didn't jump too fluently.

Got the place money anyway
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Was Vital Pilot in that race?
How did it go?

DennistheMenace

Vital Pilot was a non-runner.

Vital Pilot was a non-runner.

Any word why?
Weld had said it was one of his best chances at the festival

Is he due to go again this week?

Expected him to run well today too so must have been a late withdrawal, not sure why, won't be running if he is injured or not suited to the ground which is unlikely for a weld horse.

Anyone hear word for anything for Galway the weekend? Am heading down tomorrow and hoping to back a few winners to pay for my weekend (some hope! :-\)
