Don't know if this is one for the WTF thread but BBC2 have just shown a betting slip with a CASH bet of £500.000 on Big Bucks. Whoever done it must have Big Balls as well.

An off sales proprietor in Lurgan passes his time by posting pics of his winning bets on Facebook. If only he would post the losers as well.

Any of the Kildare lads have any suggestions as to somewhere fairly affordable to stay in Naas the Friday night of the Punchestown festival? I'm guessing this night gets booked out fairly quickly?

The accomodation list on their own website is fairly comprehensive (just click the links on the right hand side of the page): http://www.punchestown.com/accommodation.asp

Don't confine yourself to Naas if you can't find anywhere suitable. The likes of Newbridge and Clane would only be 10-15 minutes away in a taxi. You might be lucky and get somewhere in Naas, it's hard to know. Most of the English crowd that come over stay in Dublin rather than locally.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Fingal Bay best price 7/4 at the minute, a bit short for a horse coming back from injury and tackling 3m for the first time. Could Cotton Mill be the one to beat him after unseating against Simonsig?

How the hell was the result of the last race at Gowran Park allowed to stand? Johnny ended up on the chase course and was only beaten a short head. What were the stewards watching?
